Poppy-Ella-Rae-`s birthstory

Well i have been dying to write this for so long so here goes!
I had had a sweep on friday 5th dec as i was 8 days overdue midwife said i was in slow labour and i was getting contractions every 10 minutes although they were not painful, the contractions went on until saturday night and i had had 3 shows by then.
Went to sleep saturday night at 11 and ashley my partner asked me if the contractions were still the same i said no there slowing down and not as strong, we were both dissapointed and feel to sleep.
I woke up an hour later with very strong and painful contractions coming every 3 to 4 minutes!
I got in a bath woke ashley up and rang labour and delivery as the contractions jumped down to 2 minutes very fast and the pain was horrible! they counted my contractions and told me to come in, my mum and dad came for us and we all set off. my mum was panicking like mad and thought i was giving birth in the car as she couldnt believe how fast it all happened!
we go to the hospital at around 1:15am.
I was sent to a room and i couldnt believe how strong the pain was getting! i wasnt screaming just making wierd noises! haha.
i Got examined and was already 5cm!
I tried bouncing on a ball i was kneeling on the floor, on all fours just because of my pelvis been bad, this helped. ashley went outside to tell my mum what was happening and the midwife went somewhere and i got on the floor and my waters burst allover! was a very strange feeling.
They came back in and so did my mum and she was very upset to see me like that in so much pain. i got back on the bed and the midwife said i was 8cm already!
and told me not long until i could push....
Not long later i was 10cm and pushing for all my life! i was so tired and the baby was in distress they hooked me up to a machine and poppys heartbeat was dropping rapidly. a doctor came rushing in and my mum ran out as she couldnt stand seeing us like that. i didnt really no what was going on i just felt so tired and faint and was thinking to much about the pain.
poppy kept going back up so they put my legs in stirrups, cut me and used the suction cap on poppys head and told me to push push push!
i did it and all of a sudden the midwife said look down! your babys coming out! ashley was holding my hand and cheering me on he was amazing. we both looked down as i was pushing and she came out! when they said its a girl! i was in shock and didnt believe them as everyone had said i bet you have a boy! so a girl was a lovely suprise. me and ashley both looked at eachother and burst into tears. gave eachother a kiss as our daughter got rushed off to check she was not in distress anymore, she was fine.
they brought her back for skin to skin contact and we was cudding her for a few minutes. ashley ran out and told my mum and dad and they came in and met Poppy Ella Rae!! weighing 8lb 5oz she was a little chubs! i love her so much and we cant believe shes ours ashley keeps crying and thanking me for giving him a beautiful daughter. were so lucky and although the birth was horrific pain! adn distressing id do it all again for my beautiful princess Poppy Ella Rae x x
