Biggest achievement so far: -My beautiful baby boy is one of the most affectionate little boys I have ever met in my life...hes such a mamas boy!! He loves to hug my tummy and give the baby kisses and always wants to know how the baby is doing!! I love my little man!!

Oh wow, where to start when it comes to my birth story. I will make a very long story short...elijah was due January 11th, 2005 and everyone thought even that was wrong because I was huge!! I was induced at 8am on January 11, 2005. I started having very, very, intense and painful contractions by around 11am. The rule at this particular hospital or always I'm unsure was that I could not be given a epidural until I was dialated to atleast 4 and I would not dialate!! AAAAHHH!!!

So.....around 3 I had my whold darn family in the room with me and thats when the contractions really started getting bad so I finally got an epidural which I would highly, highly recommend!! I started pushing around 10:20 p.m and they shut off my epidural so I could feel when to push, well the epidural wears off in about 30 minutes and my son was not born until 12:23 am, oh my gosh was I tired. I was vomiting, and thought my head was going to explode and was so thirsty but everything I drank just came right back up, it was awful.

Well, my sons heart rate was dropping everytime I had to push and we almost had to do an emergency seasection but he came out and when he did he was a blueish gray color and made no noice. I was panicked and I remember looking at my mom and she said don't worry honey it's all going to be alright, and I knew it wasnt when she said that, I know my mom. I broke into tears immedietly. My son ended up in the NICU on breathing machines and recovered fast but my mom did admit to me she thought my baby was dead. He is a miracle child he was very close to not making it and I look into his beautiful big blue eyes and think what a miracle all the time. My son is my angel and he will tell you so...he turned my life around and kept me strong from the life I was living for so long that was going in the wrong direction. Life is good and children are such amazing blessings I am so pleased to become a mother again!!! Pray for us to get the little girl that my family wants to complete us!!! God bless!!

Jayden`s birthstory

I had a great birth experience. I checked in at 7:30 am and they started my pitocin at around 8:15am, my ob showed up and broke my water around 8:30 am and within 20 minutes I was getting pretty intense contractions. I got an epidural around noon or one and was so ready to push at 3:30....I started pushing and lucky for me 8 minutes later my angel was here!! They had NICU standing by since I had meconium in my water when they broke it but baby Jayden was born with no complications and a loud set of lungs!!! It was an amazing and fast delivery and I am so blessed to have him here with us finally!!!
