between 3 weeks i had 2 membrane sweep but it didnt start me off at all ,then on friday i had contractions every 10 minutes but it never came to anything,i had them for the full day and night on friday saturday sunday and monday the on tuesday i called the hospital and told them and they said to come to the labor suit when the contractions became 5 minutes appart so i waited untill and then headed to the hospital around 8am got to the hospital and they checked me out and was 4 cm dilated,they said i was to stay in as they thought it was gonna come on quickly so i waited around,the contractions came on strong but nothing else was happening so they decided to brake my waters at about 3oclock in the hope it will move things along,by this time i had to have something for the pain and i didnt want gas and air as it makes me so sick so i ended up going for diamorphine,it took the edge off the pain at first then when it was time to push the meds started to whare off but i just hung in and got him out and he was eventually here at 6:03 pm my husband was by myside all the way through and my momz was there now and again too so after all that i then went for a shower and headed up to the ward ,i stayed in that night with no sleep as the lil man was just feeding all night long .then the next morning the doctors came round and done tests wich was all fine ,and then it was fine for me to go home and im just trying to get into a routine and wouldnt change him for the world .
