Ayden-Michael-Gagne`s birthstory

After being told I was going to go until the 5th of June, I lost my mucus plug and had bloody show on the 27th of May. Several hours later I was timing my contractions to 5 minutes apart, and went to the hospital. I was three minutes apart when I got there, but after being checked, was told I was 1cm dialted and 75% effaced. Boooo. Got a shot of demeral and went to sleep for a few hours. Then the contractions really kicked in! At 4cm, I desided I wanted the epidural. Best choice ever. Slept off most contractions until I was 9cm. Had to struggle thru the last cm (epi wearing off) then was pushing for several hours. Had some kick ass nurses help me thru it. During delivery, Ayden was faced up and got stuck in my pelvis. A vacuum was concidered, but the doc turned him upside down and his head pooped out. It was amazing to see his eyes show, then nose, and then face (had a mirror)! I was yelling a bit :) It hurt like hell. :) Then shoulder, then the rest of him! I had no ripping, tears or stiches, which I was very happy about. unfortunatly He had pased his first bowel movement inside and swallowed some, but he turned out just fine. It was so crazy I remeber bits and pieces but it was amazing. He is so beautiful and the most amazing thing I have ever done!
