Ok this is Rhylee's Birth Story.....

I couldn't get comfortable on Wednesday, Sept. 24 around 11pm....I had been sleeping on the couch...hard to believe it was more comfortable than my King sized pillowtop bed...but it was....so I told my hubby I was just going to go downstairs so I didn't disturb him all night...Well I tossed and turned for a bit....then I decided to watch Jay Leno....well when I turned over to look at the TV, my water broke!!!! It was exactly midnight and water went gushing down my legs...I had to run up 15 steps to get to the bathroom...I yelled into my hubby that my water broke and to call his parents to come over to watch my other daughter...The hospital is about 40 minutes away...Well his parents showed up within 15 minutes....I have a towel between my legs to soak up the water....not an easy task let me tell ya. Anyway...we left at about 12:30 am and got to the hospital around 1am....I am leaking water all the way into the emergency room....It is just the JOYS OF PREGNANCY!! So they took all my information and put me in a triage room to monitor my contractions and the heartbeat....Well the OBGYN came in and did an exam and told me that she could feel something...she looked concerned....I was a little worried...She called for the ultrasound machine ASAP....and it showed up within 5 seconds....well Rhylee decided she wanted to make her entrance into the world FEET FIRST! NOT A GOOD IDEA....She told me they had to do an EMERGENCY C SECTION due to the fact that they needed to get her out ASAP or on her way out of the birth canal my uterus could collapse on her and suffocate her...mind you they didn't tell me that at that time...They just called for all the EMERGENCY PERSONNEL to come into my room and do what they do best! From the time she diagnosed her feet in the canal to the time they put my into the surgery room to the birth of my daughter was 5 MINUTES!!! YES....ONLY 5 MINUTES! AMAZING is all I can say! I was put under anesthia(no epidural) no time for that...I didn't wake up for 2 hours after....I woke up with IV's and staples in me....They had to put me on a morophine drip too...The JOYS OF A C SECTION! So I didn't get to hold my daughter first...my hubby did....what a great memory for him! Rhylee was born at 2:33 am weighing in at 6# 5 oz and 19 inches long.....She was in head down position on Monday when I went to the doctor and flipped on Wednesday night which is probably what broke my water! That little stinker! But all went well and I have a BEAUTIFUL HAPPY and HEALTHY LITTLE PRINCESS! I wouldn't have had it any other way....ok maybe without the pain of recovery! HA HA! We are all doing well and she is already 2 weeks old! Time goes by so fast....Enjoy EVERY MOMENT even when they are CRYING! You can't get it back!!!!
