Noah`s birthstory

Water broke on Friday night while visiting friends. We went in and were checked into a room by 9 pm. Spent the next 13 hours walking, in whirlpools, on exercise ball and anything else we could do to get contractions started. Finally started pic at 11 am. Contractions started getting pretty rough pretty quick and got an epi at 1:30 at 4.5 cm dilated. Hit 10 cm at 11 pm that night (so now 26 hours have passed). Started pushing and pushed for 4 hours. Midwife had doctor come in to assess why I wasn`t progressing and he decided the baby was coming down at an angle and a c-section was our best option. Noah was born at 4:59 am on Sunday Nov. 23 (32 hours since I checked in) and is the most beautiful person I have ever seen. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. I had an incredible nursing staff and want to thank them soooo much.
