Aiden-Lee`s birthstory

On the Thursday before Aiden was born I was so tired I slept all day. I lost my plug at about 11 or 12 in the afternoon so I knew it would not be long before little Aiden was born. I went to my husbands softball game that night and then to work. While I was at work I kept having contractions and they were getting stronger and closer together. I decided to leave work at about 4am to go home so I could be more comfortable. When I got home I took a nice long bath and began packing up last minute things for the hospital. We called my doctor and they told us to go ahead and start for the hospital. We arrived at about 9am. I was about 5cm dialated and 100% effaced when they first checked me. When I reached 7cm they broke my water. I had opted to have no epidural or pain medication for the birth and it was becoming more and more painful. I was finally 10cm dialated and had to push for about 55 min before Aiden came out. He was a healthy 8lbs 13 oz and 21.5cm long. I am recovering very well and couldn`t be happier with our new addition.
