Travis-Alan`s birthstory

Was a week overdue and went to see my Dr on wednesday she said she wanted to induce that night. Arrived at hospital at 7:30pm where I was started on cycotek( something like that). Its a pill. It worked really well as by 11pm I was having strong contractions and they were steady. At 1:30am my water broke on its own and then the contractions became even worse. I was only dialated to a 3 and they decided to give me the epidural anyway. Got that all done with and it was close to about 5am then. I got rechecked and was just barely a 4, which meant I had almost stopped progressing. They started me on pitocen, contractions came back really strong but I just wasnt makeing progress very fast. They kept upping the dosage and finally by 6:30pm on Thursday I had reached 10cm. I pushed and pushed and everytime I did my baby`s heartrate would drop. He wasnt moving very much either. Dr. said nope were done here its c-section time. Which I was so against after I had just spent 24 hours in hard active labor. I had no choice tho. DId the c-section and that was done and over with in like literally 20 minutes. I heard my boy cry and I was in love. Labor was miserable but it was all worth it. I am breastfeeding and that is going great too.
