Alyssa-Nicole`s birthstory

well on the 13th my water broke about 9:45pm i was not sure if that was what it was at first so i changed my panties and started to go to bed and before i could get to bed i was wet again lol so i told hubby to stop the movie that we were about to watch cause my water just broke so we gatherd up the extra stuff for my bag and he got clothes for him and off we went to the hospital i drove and i told him that when i got out of the car and it looked like i pees my pants not to laugh lol. so we got up to l&d and got in a room and they checked to make sure it was my water and it was so we got all hooked up and waited well at about 2am my contractions we on top of each other but not to painful i just could not get n e rest with them so they gave me stadol and i rested about 2 hrs but it made my contractions go from every 1-2 min apart to 7-15 so it slowed me way down well when they checked me about 9am i was still only 3 and 60% (that is were i started) so they started pitocin and gave me my epi and we did that for a while and about 11 they checked again no change so we waited and about 2:30 the epi started to ware off i could fell my feet tingle lol so she checked me again well i was complet on one side of my cervix and about an 8 on the right so i was told to lay on my right side and less then 3 min later i felt so much pressure and she said not to roll back over cause i have a history of fast birth well the midwife got their and got me in the stirups and she started to slide out i really did not have to push at all just a lil push and she was out she came out with a very strong cry and scored a 9/9 on her apgar so she was great they said she was about 37 weeks gestation i had 3 bags of water so that slowed me down and why i had such a long labor and i bleed to much so they gave me a shot to slow it down and i am cramping but other then that we are good and she was 6.5 and 21.5in she was smaller then my boys and longer then them she is happy and healthy and very laid back i love her so much already it is crazy o i was due to go to the hospital on the 15 to start cervidil and start pitocin early on the 16th she did not want to wait she wanted valintines day lol
