Triston-Oliver`s birthstory

Well there is not to much of a birth story since the c section was planned. We originally tried on July 15th but Triston`s lungs were not mature yet so we had to wait another week. We got to the hospital at 0600 hours on Monday July 21 for the amnio to see if Triston`s lungs were mature yet. After waiting all day we finally found out around 1500 hours that he was ready and we would be able to have the c section that day. I was taken into the operating room aroung 1840 or so and they gave me the spinal tap and our little miracle Triston Oliver was born at 1855. Once he was cleaned up he was taking to the nursery to be weighed and measured. The nurse called down that he was 8 pounds 2 ounces and everyone was shocked. Being 3 weeks early everyone was worried I had diabetes because he was so big, but that is not the case. Everyone said it was a good thing we had him early he would have easily been 10 or 11 pounds if we waited the last 3 weeks. So now we are both recovering and doing well. I have been pretty lucky, have hardly had any pain medicine and Triston is just perfect!! Jupiter (hubby) hardly lets me hold Triston unless I`m feeding him lol he can`t bear to put him down for a minute!!
