I'm in the first grade, happy with having a new sibbling...wishing for a boy. "If its a boy it can sleep in my room, if its a girl it has to stay with my mom" . . . typical 7year old boy. I like to play soccer the best, but I also am a great swimmer. My parents are builing me a great club house to put in our huge back yard. I can't wait for summer!

Madalyn-Autumn`s birthstory
Hubby and I decided to go to the hospital Tuesday morning to get checked...due to having group b strep and a nasty head cold along with a previous fast labor I wanted to make sure there was enough time to get both doses of antibodics in before baby headed out. ;) So after getting the moniters strapped on and pelvic check (3-4 cen) regular contractions 5min apart. They decided to admit me, although I wasn`t in pain and really was borderline of being admitted. So we started the antibodics, and waited, and waited and waited. The dr came in about 1 and broke my water and THAT was an interesting feeling. Water gushed out and gushed and gushed...how knew there was that much fluid in there. And then we waited and waited about an 20 minutes later I was asking the nurses for some pain meds...so they gave me a shot of fenerol. They typically last an hour, so I felt safe saying I could go an hour...and I did...BUT when I was at that hour I was ready for more and unfortunetly they were busy and I had to wait 20 minutes for my next shot...by which time I`d lost my pain management focus, I`d started feeling major pain and was crying to my hubby to get the nurse. So at this point my hubby (sweet man) request the epi for me...and who knew how long that takes :( I swear I`m never prepared for timing. During the hour of `edge off` meds that I`d recieved I was in the process of getting an epi (set up, prep, and meds) I`ve never had one...recommend them....request them early if your getting on they take time. During the process of getting the epi I felt lots of pain in my bottom area...so as soon as I was able to lay back down the nurse checked me this was about 3:30. She smiled and said wow what progress from a 6 to a 9...so she calls in the dr and started setting up the room...not five minutes later i told her the head was moving...and sure enough I was almost crowning. :) Dr come in and says lets push...three and a half pushes later out comes this little girl!!!!!!!!!! Overall my hubby was tramatized by my lack of pain control and feeling helpless to help me, but I think he is over it now. And here we have this beautiful little baby.
