arianni-lin`s birthstory

right before i went to labor i had decided to go to the shell station right down the road to get some stuff to drink because it was hot. i was there for ten mins after i got home i walked in the door and i had a strong contraction and i decided i needed to sit down a second before i put my stuff up. just as i sat down i felt a small trickle and all i thought was oh crap either i am peeing my pants or my water is about to break. i jumped up and ran to the bathroom and just as i sat down whoosh there went my water! i told my boyfriend my water broke and he just about passed out he was so scared this being his first baby and all. got to hops around 10:30pm strarted to contract harder around 12am contractions so bad i decided to get some nubane and lay for a while but it didnt work so around 2am i decided to walk and sit on birthing ball 3:30am dr came in and checked me and i was only dialted to a 3 and only 80% effaced they decided they wanted to do pictocin and that was when i decided on a epridurl i got the epidurl at 4:30 and fell asleep at 5am woke up at 6am wanting to push but waited for my dad and daughter to come to the hospital as well as my dr to arrive. started to push at 6:50am and my beautifull baby girl was born at 7:05 15 mins later. i didnt rip or anything it was a picture perfect birth.
