Isaac-James`s birthstory

I had a schedule induction set for 5 PM on the 22nd. When I got to the Hospital, they checked me and I was 3 cm, 95% effaced, contracting good, and my waters were bulging. Needless to say, I was ready to be induced! They finally started the Pitocin around 7. I felt a few `ouch` contractions, but nothing big. My Doctor broke my water about 8. Things started to progress. At 8:15, the epidural was given, but it failed. The next 3 hours were spent trying to get a successful epidural. The 7th... yes, 7th try was a success! Thankfully!!! After that, I progressed from a 3 to a 7 in two hours. I was checked at 1:30, and was a 9, and at 2:00, I was fully dilated and ready to push. I labored down a little bit so I wouldn`t spend a long time pushing. At 2:30, I began pushing and Isaac was born at 4:04. It went awesome!! He is beautiful and my husband and I couldn`t be happier. We are truly blessed by the Lord.
