My mommy is a very strong woman. She started feeling a lot of pain the morning before my due date and beared with it until going in later that evening. She was even okay to visit my ill grandma in the hospital before taking herself in, just incase anything happens to my grandma and she doesn't see her again.

When my mommy arrived at the hospital she was put on the nonstress test. My mommy was able to hear my heart beat and see when her stomach was contracting. Not too long after she was on the nst, my heart skipped a beat, or what the doctors called dropped. They doctors were afraid that I was going into distressed and rushed my mom to triage. My mommy had an ultrasound done and the docs decided that inducing her was the way to go since my heart dropped. My mommy rufused it, but the docs had no other choice. I was due the next day anyway. After the induction, they figured out why my heart had dropped. I had took a no. 2 inside my mommy. The docs were able to tell by the fluid that came out of my mommy. They then checked to see how fair she's dilated and said she was at a 5. That funny though because the day before that they docs. checked her when she went in for her weekly visit and said she hasn't dilated at all! xP

After the induction, my mommy was left alone to bear with the pain of contraction. She was given a face mask for oxygen and her stomach was wrapped with the nst thing. She refused any pain meds. and told them she wanted to have me naturally. Hour by hour, the pain got worse, but still my mommy was strong enough to go without the meds. When her contractions were so close together and she felt like she needed to use the bathroom constantly she gave up and asked for a pain med through the iv. For some reason my mommy's blood was clogging the iv that the pain med didn't work as well as it should of. 2 hours later my mommy asked for another dose, and another dose after that. Something was wrong with the med. it wasn't doing its job.

Finally my mommy gave in and asked for the epi. She wasn't 100% sure about this but knew she needed it to help speed the process. Even before the doc. started to put the epi in my mommy's spine, they asked her again if she was sure about this. She had to think about it again for a few minutes before agreeing to it. After agreeing she was told to sign some papers, and was told the process of it. The needle was finally poked into my mommy's spine, but she was going through enoug pain as it is that she didn't feel any pain. That was good because my mommy is very scared of needles. Just seconds later, she was able to sleep without any complications. About 2 hours later the nurse came in to check to see how far she's dilated, and told her hat if she wanted she could start pushing whenever she was having a contraction or she can wait until she feels like it. She chose to wait.

At a little after 8 am the docs came in and told her to start pushing everytime she was having a contraction. My dad the hero was by my mommy's side the whole time. My mommy pushed for about 20 mins. and I came out! I was taken way from my parents b/c of the fact that I took a doo doo inside my mom. The docs. wanted to make sure I was infected with anything. Anyway, I was a very good size baby, 8lbs. 6oz, but they rounded it down to 5oz instead. I was long, very long, 21inches.
