Aidan-Samuel-Odell`s birthstory

Well.. I was laying on the couch on friday night (8-8-08) and all of a sudden my water broke... I wasn`t having any contractions but I went upstairs to get cleaned up and call my doctor... he told us to go to the hospital... well... when I got there and they checked me I was only a 1 and not very effaced at all, so they put cervadil in and said they would check me in the morning and see what my cervix was like and most likely start me on Ptocin... well @ 7:30 I was only a 2, and slightly effaced so they started the ptocin... after contracting for several hours they checked me around 1:30 and I was still a 2... so the doctor thought it was best that we do a c-section.... well... I didn`t want one at all... but at that point I had been there for around 20 hours and was tired... i don`t know if I could have pushed him out after having to wait to dialate to a 10 because the doctor said it could be another 8-10 hours... so boom... they took me away and within an hour my little man was born!!!! he is so amazing :)
