Peter-Jr`s birthstory

I was going in for my routine 36 week check up @ 3pm ..when they measured my BP and it was high. I gave my urine sample...a minute later my dr. came in asked `how are you feeling` I said `i feel fine`....he said `well you`re not, you`re preeclamptic and having a baby today`....Shocked....but not `surprised` because I had been a swollen BLIMP for 2 months...and had gotten higher then normal BP readings previously.

I was admited 3:30pm...Started IV Magnesium sulfate and induction @ 4pm Got my epidural, water broke @ 4cm...I never felt a `whole` contraction. I delivered after 3 pushes at 1:01am June 24th.

After Delivery I was sick...Still HIGH blood Pressure...4+ Proteins and hypereflex.

Monday, March 17, 2008 St. Patricks Day.

Woke up with contractions...as usual...They were making my ribs hurt really bad. I told hub to wait and we'll time them before he went to work. They were close together...so I decided I would go to work with him for a while and then go to the hospital. While I waited with my son for hub to do some "work stuff", I went for a walk with DS around campus and got some chick-fil-a. The pain in my rib was intense so I started back towards hubs office. I didn't think I was going to make it at some moments...lol.

We got to the hospital at like 3pm? My blood pressure was up a little, the pain in my ribs...burning..., contractions we'rent impressive...I had blood taken and my Uric Acid levels came back HIGH...so much that the nurse told me she had never seen it so high in someone before...hince...my rib pain = my liver about to explode...here comes Preeclampsia AGAIN. So I got admitted.

IV with Magnesium Sulfate right away...I got the pitocin at around 6pm? Water was broke around 8pm? Contractions went from "am I having one? to....HERE IT COMES OOO OOO OOO" I got the epidural at like 9pm? It didnt take right away and I was feeling pain on my left side so he came back in and gave me the super dose...thank goodness!!

Hub said he had to pee so he went in the bathroom and as soon as he closed the door I got PRESSURE!!! I called the nurse..."I FEEL PRESSURE"...She came in, hub came out of the bathroom. I was like I FEEL PRESSURE!!! lol .the nurse checked me .. baby was LOW and I was 8cm...She called the DR...I was ready!

Dr. Came in...got set up...3 contractions of pushing I saw the dr go in for the episiotomy...and baby was out...10:50pm. I felt the lil head come out then the body...no pain just like pressure feeling. I got one stitch on the bottom...and one on top apparently where I started to rip.

I was on the Mag. For 24 hours...it was aweful. We went home Wednesday afternoon...not even 48 hours after delivery.
