Ezra-Michael-Hampton`s birthstory

I went in the hospital at 8pm Thursday night, July 31st. They gave me a pill to soften my cervix and a pill to help me sleep. At 6:30am on August 1st the nurse came in and started pitocin...the doctor broke my water at 7:30am....my contractions starting coming pretty close and strong....I was only 3 cen. at 10:30am...they increased the pitocin and gave me my epidural...that slowed everything down and it didn`t work....an hour later they took that epidural out and inserted another one....immediate relief!!! I ate a cup of ice chips and later had severe nausea....they checked me throughout the day and at 5:20pm the nurse came in the room and cleared everybody out...she checked me and he was ready to be born....she prepped me and the doctor came in...she told me to push....I pushed as hard as I could...she said on the next contraction to push and we will have a baby!!! I pushed once more and he was here!! what a wonderful day....I am 39 years old and this is my 3rd child and I have to say this was the easiest delivery and pregnancy so far.....recovery has also been better this time around...our family felt complete before litte Ezra but now it is even better.....we are all healthy and happy...what else in life could you ask for.......we are blessed!
