Jai-Benjamin`s birthstory

When i got to the hospital i was only 3cm dialated, but getting regular contractions 3mins apart, i was taken to the labour room, and started to have gas for pain relief, several hours later my doctor arrived and deceided to check how dialated i was and i was 8 cm, they gave me a shot of pethadine, which i didnt think it did much, the pain was increasing and i wasnt getting much of a brake between contractions. i started pushing and screaming as it hurt so much, He was born fairly quickly which was lucky as my baby`s cord had a knot in it, and as he was born it cut off all oxygen supplies to him, he was quickly rushed away from me, and i had no idea wat was going on, no one would tell me, extremelly scary, he needed an adrenaline shot and respite care, he was not a very well little boy, but very lucky to be alive. im just so glad that the care we recieved in hospital was of top standard, all my story could be an extremelly sad 1. my son Jai is doing extremelly well and was allowed home from hospital today. i wish everyone all the best and good luck
