Linnea`s birthstory

I went to bed about 11 pm. Couldn`t sleep and had some cramps which eventually got insistant enough that at 3 am I gave up and had a bath. Which helped NOT AT ALL. At 4 I woke Mark up and at 5 made we rang the midwife and she suggested 2 paracetamol and go back to bed and ring her around 8... I had 2 paracetamol and made him ring her back right away! By the time she came over my contractions had gone from 3 1/2 minutes to every minute and the midwife was amazed at how well I was doing. We breathed together and I spent most of the time before she came on all fours in the bath with a lovely hot shower on my back. For the proper pushes I crouched in front of the sofa with Mark supporting me from behind. I did NOT enjoy that bit! Linnea was born at 8:09 am. She`s perfect and I didn`t tear. The placenta came out straightaway with about two pushes! That bit felt REALLY nice!
