Noah-Alexander-Huerta`s birthstory

I went into the hospital on Wednesday night to be induced for Thursday. Thursday morning at 5:30 A.M., they induced me with Pitocin and my I began having little contractions. At 9:30 my doctor came and broke my water bag and because I had extra amniotic fluid I felt like my water bag had broken 4-5 times because I would just have water gushing out. (SOrry if TMI) With my first pregnancy I didn`t have an epidural it was an all natural vaginal birth, but this time around I opted to have an epidural. ANd honestly I think that was the best thing I could have done. They gave me the epidural around 12:00 and it went so fast after that. By the time I knew it they told me it was time to push. As I started pushing towards the end I heard my mom and husband telling me come on don`t stop. I just thought they were being encouraging but little did I know that the babys umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck. But as soon as I pushed him out the doctor took the umbilical cord from around his neck and we were all good from there. I was so happy to see Noah. And everybody including the doctor eagerly awaited because that is why I was being induced because the baby was predicted to be 9 lbs. Well we were all shocked to see and hear that he was 9lbs 14oz.,. I couldn`t be more happier and even though complaining was a little to common towards the end, I would surely do it all over again.
