Larry-`s birthstory

I had a regular appointment with my MW on 9/27/08 she came iover to do all the check-up stuff that she always does. I wasn`t expecting to go into labor while she was here, but I`m so thankful that I did. It wasn`t until she checked me for dilation and she told me that I was five centimeters which I couldn`t believe. She discovered that his head wasn`t down so she felt and pushed around on my stomach to see what position he was in. At first she thought he was transverse and then when she done another internal exam she said she felt toes. She has seen breech births be done but she`s never done one herself, so she called another MW to come and talk her through what to do. So, the other MW came and done an internal exam just to make sure she felt the same thing and she did. In other words my baby was born footling breech meaning he came out feet first. This is the second baby that I gave birth to in that position and just like that birth (which was 10 years ago) this birth turned out just as fine the only difference was that I was only in labor three hours from start to finish with this baby. My first 10 years ago took 29 hours but first babys usually take longer. With my second son I was in labor for five hours start to finish. This baby is my third and each baby you have is faster and easier than the one before. Well theirs my birth story. I wish for all youladies that either have had their babys or are still waiting to have thiers have or had great birth stories to tell.
