Kaitlyn-Mae`s birthstory

Well I started having little contractions at 7:00 am on Sunday and my Baby turned breech two days before after being head down... I was originally set for the baby to be turned on Monday and then induced but she wanted to come on her own the day before... So I called the Dr after having contractions 5 mins apart and he told me to go to the hospital... Well prepared for them to say that the she was still breech I lied in the bed waiting for the ultrasound tech to come in to confirm it.... Well to our surprise her head was down.... Crying tears of relief I was changed to a birthing room... I walked the halls for an hour with little contractions that were coming 2-3 mins apart but only lasting for a minute or two... Then my Dr. came in at 2:00 pm to start pit and break my water I was at 5 cm dilated... Well as soon as he left my contractions got really strong to the point I was holding my breath... As my husband was yelling at me to breathe I yelled get the Dr in here I want to push... Well the nurse came in a minute later checked me and said I`m at 7cm... Well the pain started again and I told my Hubby again get the Dr in here I feel her head... Well the Dr comes running in and I`m totally at 10 and her head was right there.... My hubby was told to start raising the bed and my feet are in the stirrups and the Dr said go ahead give me a little push as he is getting his gear on.... Well a little push and her head comes flying out... He yells stop as he`s running up to me and trying to get his gown on and suctioning her out... He looks at me and says one push and she`s out... That`s all I had to hear so one push as I`m holding my Husband in a lip lock and my other foot looking for something to brace myself on as the Dr is saying `Please don`t kick me` I take one hard push and she`s out... No Med`s No nothing.... She`s here and I did it... Kaitlyn Mae was here at 2:16 pm... Sixteen minutes after they broke my bag of waters...WOW.... After all the worry from me having a 2 vessel cord and her being breech then not all is over and my baby is my arms... My husband cut the cord and she was placed on my tummy right away... This is my 3rd baby and that was the first time that was done and it was awesome... She was so blue and very warm and slimy but it was the best feeling in my entire life... Her score was an 8 and she cried and her coloring went right to normal....

Now with me having a two vessel cord they did an ultra-sound on her kidneys which showed one is slightly dilated so we have to go to a kidney specialist and see if it will correct itself or if their will be a problem... In my heart I think everything is fine so we will take her to the pediatrician this Tues. to see what they suggest...
