I was having contractions all weekend long and didnt know ir, well i was having menstrual crampy pain so i didnt think thats was contractions i was waiting for it to get worst because i did not want to get sent home. Sunday night got really bad and the wee hours monday morning i called my doula and my ob and they instructed me to go to L&D. When i arrived my cervix was 3cm and 80% but since i was over due the ER techs was like lets find a reason for you to stay, they didnt because my fluid levels were low and my placenta was starting to calcify. I endured labor pains for 10 hrs and then i needed an epidural which only took on my right side so i felt all my labor. Couple of hours and stitches later My Son was born and he was perfect, the talk of the maternity ward.
