Hunter-David`s birthstory

Well, it was a very difficult birth at the end.

It all started at 5 am. Got to the hossy and they did all the preliminary stuff. I was 1cm and having contractions that I was not feeling. They started the pitocin at 6am. Progress went fine for awhile, then I stalled out at 6-7cm. By 9pm, they were considering a c-section. The doc had them stop the pitocin for 30 minutes and then restart it. It helped, but was still slow going. At a `stretchy` 8cm, the doc decided to try to dialate me the rest of the way himself. It worked and he had the nurse continue working with me until we got complete. He got changed and we started pushing. He ended up having to use the forceps to help me get him out, but at 11:07pm, Hunter made his arrival. I had to have a bunch of stitches, don`t know how many....didn`t even ask. I just know he said he had a lot of stitching to do. I have been very sore and my tail-bone has been hurting since the delivery. The soreness is gone all except the tail-bone, but that is much better than it was. I did have the epidural, which I was scared to get, but sooooo glad I did. I don`t think I could have made it through that without it.

When I get more time, I`ll post some pics of my handsome little guy.
