Corinne`s birthstory

We were asked to come to the hospital on Thursday night to be induced for low amniotic fluid. I also had concerns with preeclampsia and my blood pressure was high when admitted. We got there at 8pm and recieved the cervidil. Started regular contractions at 9pm. Slept on and off in the night. At 7 the next morning my waters were broken and I was dialated 2cm. Contractions continued. They got closer together and stronger. At 9:30 they were going to start putocin however I had gone into hard labor myself with contractions every 30seconds to 1minute apart. By 1030 I was dialated 5cm. I had an epidural and by noon I was fully dialated and ready to push. I pushed for an hour and a half and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl - 6lbs 14oz. She is healthy and doing great!
