Yes, it`s all over now! My little bundle of joy has arrived. It all started Wed. night when I was home I kept having these strong contractions and so I called the doctor that was filling in for my original doctor who was on vacation. When she called me back she asked me how far apart are they, I informed her that they were 7 min apart. she said it wasn`t good enough and that they would need to be at least 5 min apart. She stated that she will see me tomorrow since that was my appointment anyway. Shortly after I hung up the contractions started to get closer and when I started jotting them down I noticed that they were about 4 minutes apart. I told my husband it`s time to hit it. On the way to the hospital, I promise my husband hit every bump in the street that there were. When we got there they admitted me and I was dilated at 4 centimeters and it kind of stayed that way all night. I slowly progressed to 5 then 6 centimeters. The next day around noon I was at 7 to 8 centimeters . A couple of more hours went by and I moved one centimeter. by the time 5 pm I was at 1o centimeters, and then I started to push I pushed for an hour nothing they could see that she had hair but no progress. They determined that she would not be able to fit and probably to big to fit through the birth canal.Then my temp began to rise, and they stated that at this point they have to give me a c section, I cried because I didn`t want one, but I had to do what I had to do not only for my health but my baby as well. I had her at 6:21 pm 8 pounds and 14 ounces, Yes I had a nice little whopper with cheese! I was so happy and so was my husband. I am a very sore and working it out one day at a time. I look a little on the swolllen side I hope that this will go away soon. Right now I`m getting rest I will keep you all posted. Blessings to all that are mothers and soon to be mothers.
