Taryn-Lane`s birthstory

Arrived at the hospital at 5 a.m., got started on pitocin by 6, water broken at 8, and a few hours later got the epidural. (i wanted to wait till i felt some REAL contraction, so i knew what it was like, crazy huh?) The epi freaked me out a little. i didn`t like not being able to feel my legs or move myself, and the nurse kept having to come in and rotate my body. so i had her really lower the dosage of the epi from 12 to 6 and that made me feel a bit better. i had an op baby and with the help of contractions and the nurse using her fingers to turn baby`s head she finally turned anterior right before her birth. AND I ONLY PUSHED FOR 20 MINUTES! the whole time talking and joking with the nurse and my doctors. i have to say it was a very great labor, and very very easy. EASIER THAN BEING PREGNANT! so my baby girl`s finally here and there was no reason to be scared of labor or an epidural because it was pretty much painless. It`s nice to finally have her here, but hell to not get to sleep very much!!!
