Luisa Desireč's Birth:

I woke up about 7.30 with pain in my back, stomach and thigh. I almost didn't get moved in the bed. Right than I didn't think that It could be the birth who started. Than I got up together with Simen, around 7.45 at the morning. When he had left, the pain hadn't stopped, than a light came up to my head. I started take the time of the pain, and it was just 8-7 minutes between the pain. I got into Sonja, my bestfriend who slept over with me that night (thank gad). We sat down in the livingroom and taked the time at the pain. Around 10-11'o clock they was down in 6minutes, and we called the midwife, around 11-11.30 we drived to the hospital.

When we came there they looked me up, and my opening was 2cm, and it could take many times before the birth could start. I walked around at the hospital, talked to peoples, my mother and Simen came after some minutes. after 4-5 hours they looked at me again and it had just opened 0,5cm, uff, this could take many hours.

Lucky fore me, is my aunt midwife, and she was done working around 3'o clock. We went with her home to relax. She live just oppside the hospital. around 21.30 was my opening around 4cm. The pain was dreadfull and they had been in many hours. Around 22.00 we went to the hospital. I sat in the bathtub in a while, I got really relax . But the pain was there, and I lay down in my bed and blowd in laughing gas, I had to be sure that I was doped enough when the birth started! when the clock was around 23.00 my opening was 7cm, from 4-7cm at one hour, gosh! They took my amniotic fluid, because the foster sound was so high. The laughing gas was the only analgesic I got.

When I started pressing, It was wonderful, but it was hurting! And when the clock was 00.27, 31.oktober - at the day at payment, out little girl was born! I was really happy, after a long and hard day. I didn't crack at all, unbelievable the midwife said, to be the first birth!

After I had looked at her, warmed her and Simen cutting the umbilical cord. she got weigh and found out her lenght, she was 50cm and 3950gram. A big beauty girl <3
