ok so 11 days after delivery i finally get around to doing my birth story :-)

1/3/12 as it was my bf's birthday (and cash was very tight) we celebrated with a chinese takeaway and birthday cake! and just slobbed out infront of the tv (pretty normal night) i ha some braxton hicks but nothing to make me pay any attention too them, at 10.00pm i went to bed as my head literally hit the pillow i felt a pop and some liquid came out? i jumped up and grabbed a nearby towel and my waters had broke they started gushing out everywhere so i ran to the loo and sat down, i shouted for my bf but he was on his computer game downstairs and so didnt hear me, i was shaking so much but i finally managed to get up and wrap a towel around me like a giant nappy and come downstairs, my bf looked at me and i told him my waters had just broke ive never seen him get off his computer game so fast lol! as i wasnt having any contractions yet i didnt think we should rush so we got everything ready and told my bf's mum to be on standby as she was coming to stay at ours so we didnt have to get the children up, after about 45 mins i had had some contractions and so we called my bf's mum to come round and also rand the hospital they said to come in as my previous labours were quite short but they may send me home again depending on how far i was (lol yeah right) i took a step down my front door step to the car and thats whn i had my first strong contraction it freaked me out a bit! so we jumped in the car and i told the bf to drive quick! we decided to park on the street and walk in, every 10 steps or so id have to stop and have a contraction it seemed to take us forever to get inside! but finally we got outside the delivery suit by then my contractions were coming thick and fast (theres no way they were sending me back!) they checked me and i was at 6-7 cms dilated and shortly after i started to feel pressure in my bum so i tried to push on all fours but after a while i turned over onto my back and pushed as hard as possible! after a brief moment of panic when his shoulders got stuck i tore and then out came eli jack richardson! 7lb7oz and perfect! we had to stay in an extra day due to him not maintaining his body temperature but was aloud home a day later, 12 days on and we are doing good eli is eating well and gaining weight dispite having oral thrush and colic! but i just got medication for him yesterday do in a day or so we should be fine, i love him sooo much already wich didnt happen the last two times it took a little while, im so blessed to have 3 beautiful healthy boys! im trying to enjoy every second as this will most likely be my last baby |(unless a magic fairy gives me a little baby girl anyway lol) wishing us all the best and happyness with our familys for the future xx

my waters broke (with no notice before, that anything was about to happen) my contractions started once i got to the hospital and they had checked me and i went from 3 to 7 cm dilated very fast, soon enough it was time to push and with a few puffs of gas and air baby seth was born! it was the most painful thing ever lol, but he is worth it
