I went into the hospital at 5:00pm on monday to start my induction, they tried 5 times and finally got my IV inserted, they started my cervidil and the next morning they started my pitocin. On Tuesday the pitocin wasnt working good enough so they turned it off and started my cervidil again. Finally on wednesday after starting my pitocin once again I was finally dialated far enough to get my water broken..when my water broke she had, had a bowel movement and since there was miconium in there they put me on internal monitors. I was in alot of pain but I had to wait until my bag of fluids was gone before I got my epidural but after that I finally got to get an epidural when the lady put it in she messed up horribly and it only worked on one side and all the pain was concentrated onto my right hip they had to call in another anestesiologist (sp?) and he took it out and put another one in the right way. When my nurse came back she checked me and Zayda was already in the birth canal so she told me OB and had me start pushing. When she started to crown my OB came in and delivered her after 20 minutes of me pushing. I had to get an episiotomy but finally Zayda came out.. after 36 hours of labor and 20 minutes of pushing..it was an extreme amount of pain but I'd do it all over again for my baby girl!
