Jorja-Isobel`s birthstory

I was booked in to have my baby by cesarean section on 30 July 2008 as she was breech, but she decided to come early. My waters broke while i was fast asleep at 3.20am Sunday morning. I woke my partner up and told him to get up as my water had broken, he said are you sure??? He was a first time father so i guess that was a normal question to ask but after having 3 other children i knew what had happen, so it was a mad dash to get the bags in the car call the hosp and my mum to come get the kids. It was raining, but we mad it to the hosp in one piece. We got there just before 4am the nurses called the doctors as they were all asleep and they started getting me ready for the c-section. They took some blood, shaved me, put a drip in my arm did an internal i was dialated which was good so they could take there time. I then had a catheter inserted and was told they will take me to theatre at 5.20am. I didnt have any pain and i was just having slight contraction every 5 mins or so. My partner was with me up until i was taken into the op room while they gave me epidural, then he was able to come in. He was all dressed in hosp gear and had big white welly boots he looked like he was going to milk a cow.... I was now numb from ribs down, couldnt feel anything it wasnt as bad a i thought. John held my hand all the time, i just laid there watching his face as he was going to be a dad. At 5.53am our little girl Jorja Isobel came into the world, John had tears coming down his face. The doctors gave me a quick look and then took her away to check her out. John got to cut the cord and then hold her. After a while John and Jorja went back to the ward, while i stayed by myself as the docs finished stitching me up, it was very quiet and lonely. I got to go back to my room about 7am i finally get to hold my beautiful baby girl....It was all worth it...
