Camryn-Carol`s birthstory

We had a planned c-section for July 18th at 8am. I thought I was supposed to arrive at 7am to get prepped. The hospital called at 6:45 wondering why I didn`t get there at 6:00! They had me scheduled for surgery at 7am, not 8am! Oh well, we made it there by 7:00 and I was downstairs getting the spinal by 8:10am. I got extremely nervous once I actually got downstairs. My doc calmed me down. After they draped me to start the surgery and I was all numb all I could think of is `I hope it comes out a girl...I have all pink stuff` Then I heard her screaming and kept saying `is it a girl????` and my doc was like `only the head is out...just hang on` Finally she said `YES, it`s a girl!` I cried. I was so overwhelmed with joy. She is absolutely beautiful . She is nursing well; sleeps a lot DURING THE DAY...last night she slept from 3am-7am. We are trying to get into a routine. It`s great to be home! Best of luck to all of you moms-to-be. It`s worth the wait!!!
