Iyani`s birthstory

Well Ladies, I finally made it here with all the mommies :-)
Ok so my baby shower was on Sunday Sept 28th and my water broke Monday 2:30am. So I get up go to the bathroom thinking that oh maybe I just peed on myself in my sleep so I cleaned off went back to bed and I was wet again so I just layed there looking to feel some type of pain which I didnt. So I got up packed my bags for the hospital and went on to work YES I said work LOL. About 12noon I called the Dr and they said to come straight to L&D and they checked me and of course she said oh yeah your water broke but your not in labor and you didnt dialate any so we need to put you on Pitocin to induce you because at this point your water has been broken for 12hrs and after 24 hours if you dont go into labor we will have to do the c-section. So anyway Im on the pitocin and hours are passing and my contractions are 1-3 minutes apart and Im still not feeling anything so she came in and said time is running out so I said ok well let me get up and walk. I walked for about 5 minutes and BAM! it felt like I ripped in the inside and something just came down so I let her check me and i had only dialated 1 cm then the contractions were coming and i was feeling it all but stayed calm. So they began to come stronger so I asked for some pain relief and she told me that if i wasnt any further that i had to wait so anyway at this point im not 3cm and the Epi was on its way yes yes yes the greatest thing ever LOL. Well she said i will be back in a few hours to see if you moved any after i got the epi she came back in 45minutes and was like omg you are completely ready so i pushed about 5-6 times and my baby was here.
