Xavier-David-Jones`s birthstory

David (my husband) had a party to go to on Saturday night, I had a membrane sweep early Friday morning, the car had been packed Thursday night in full anticipation I would go Friday. When we were in the middle of Saturday I had made my peace I would need to be induced the following weekend. No contractions and Alison a friend of mine, bless her heart, persevered and conquered my stinginess with the phone calls and stopped by =). I think her company and good spirits, or maybe her throaty voice, got my boy all relaxed....David was procrastinating on this party, I ofcourse having had this procedure, being over 9 months pregnant, he didn`t want to leave me. I kept asking if his phone was charged even though I had no pains at all whatsover, no contractions no BH, not a thing. The pain I had felt for the last 9 months actually disappeared that day, I was walking, I was up, everything was good. I turned in for the night at 9 pm, felt something a bit odd....and the odd kept coming, before I looked I prayed I would not see blood, after that prayer, I looked and alas, water completely gushing (gross) it doesn`t stop there was absolutely no question what it was. David was on his way out the door, I stopped him in the RR and said, i think my water broke, he said `what do I do now` (hehe) and I said `this is it ITS TIME TO GO`..I jumped in the shower cause as Alison can support, I was completely not correct..I atleast needed to throw some water in the area and my hair..blah blah on kids getting ready that is part of David`s story (cute one though). We got to the hospital, (after getting GAS) filled out their idiot 400 forms, he was stubborn, still no contractions, no dilation, no effacement, nothing, just a towel in between my legs and me trying to not be embarrassed. By the way I had not pooped really that day and I was hysterical I would not get the chance too. I needen`t worried as I was told by the nurse since I voiced my concern to her about 50 times I did not poop, and my mom and husband also confirmed i did not poop. I was however gassy as all hell and was trying to hold it, well I had to do some practice pushing and well, my son said it was like fireworks, I was embarrassed, but if they didn`t care, I didn`t have time too. Some pitocin (never had before) to get things going, a complete membrane rupture by the Dr and an epidural later (I tried) as 7 cm, once at 10 cm (which happened in a second), he dropped immediately and within 15 min of me literally sitting up, and he was out with 4 pushes, no marks on me (yikes) no lacerations, cuts nothing... he is 8 pounds and 14 oz. People can`t help but scream that out when they see him `omg he is such a big baby` he is very cute ofcourse and so far clockwork newborn with crying, appearance etc... He does not have a cone head at all, circumcision went great and he is drinking formula while my milk comes in, and with good reason, he is already drinking 3 oz which I think is a bit abnormal and insane.....And he does that cute little grunting pecking thing, and snuggles so good in the neck, we are in LOVE! I am so happy that my horrible pregnancy experience lead to such a thoroughly uneventful labor and delivery. My 2 kids saw it and seeing their faces as soon as their brother came into the world is a memory I hope I never lose...(my daughter`s eyes as wide as saucers and saying `hi Xavier, I`m your sister`, and Deontae rubbing my arm with his eyes filled with tears.......Here`s to all of you soon meeting your newest addition....
