Gabriel-Benjamin`s birthstory

Went in for my induction on Monday night at 11pm, they started the antibiotics for the GBS, and they started to ripen the cervix. I stayed at 1cm forever becuase I have had cryo surgery and there was too much scar tissue on my cervix. They broke my water Tuesday at 5pm still at 1cm, they put the tube inside to watch the contractions. At about 9pm tue night I was dialated to 2 cm, then about 3 am Wed morning I was 3-4cm. At 8 am I was 6 cm, 20 mins later I was ready to push. I had to wait for the dr. So started pushing around 8:50 ish and he was born 9:24. The cord was wrapped around his neck, but he was fine. I lost a little over 800 cc`s of blood, had to have the shot to stop the bleeding, and the placenta broke apart so they had to scrape all of that out. I am in a lot of pain still, not breast feeding as it just wasn`t working. Still week and feels like I was hit by a train. BUT he is the most beautiful thing in the world and all is worth this. I can`t stop staring at him. He is beautiful!! I hope you all are enjoying your babies, or soon will be!!!
