Sienna-Maria`s birthstory

Started with contractions Thursday evening that went to every 4mins, went to labour ward to be told that I was only 2cm dilated and to go home and get some rest, so we went home at 4am and I slept all day till about 3pm Friday. Woke up and started with contractions again that gradually got worse and worse. I was insistant on being home as long as possible because I honestly thought they would just send me home. So I arranged for one of my relatives to pick my son up at 12am and by 12:30am Saturday morning we set off to hospital. Got there and was examined to find I was 7cm dilated! I burst into tears of happiness and couldnt believe I had made it all that way with no pain relief.
So they moved me to a delivery room where I was set up on gas and air, my partner Martin was brilliant and actually had me laughing all the way through the last of my labour. It got to the pushing stage and I was in agony, apparently the babies shoulder was stuck and so they had to use the McRoberts position to get her out. After 3 pushes and only 4 minutes later I delivered my baby girl Sienna Maria. She is absolutely gorgeous and I am so in love. :)) I didnt need stitches amazingly enough and was able to go home by 12pm.
