KylinnsMommy - Friday, 17 July Good news, ladies! My friend Julie (the one that had pneumonia and was in a coma) is on the road to recovery. She is not out of the ICU, but is much better than she was. I guess the plan is for the baby to be born next week. He will be only a few weeks early. Any improvement is good after what she went through. It was very scary for a while.

tmcheese33 - Wednesday, 15 July I was just reading your pregnancy diary. I wish I would have kept a log like that. DJ is only a few hours younger than my little Cameron. He was born on Feb 8th at 11:04pm. It\'s funny...we were both in labor at the same time. I love this website!

cowgirlygirl28 - Tuesday, 14 July Update on Teddy~The Physical Therapy is going good. We are doing alot of stretches and exercises at home. Teddy goes back to the PT at the hospital in 2 weeks and in 4 weeks he gets his leg braces on. We are still waiting for the appointment at Children\'s Hospital for his CT scan and MRI On a good note, Teddy\'s bottom 2 teeth came in in May. His 4 top teeth are all coming in at the same time! His top left middle tooth broke through the gum Monday morning and his top tooth to the left of that broke through this morning. So he now has 4 teeth! He still has his top middle right tooth and the tooth next to that that has to break through but that should be soon. He is a happy camper except right before they break through the gums. And to think in May his preemie pediatrician said he was not teething at all! He is such a goof ball too, he won\'t bite his own fingers but he will put mine in his mouth and chomp down hard on them and leave marks! When he has his fingers in his mouth he makes sure he has them off to the side!

aloha.ma - Friday, 10 July I want to say Thanks to everyone who responded to my \"Get an F-ing job\" comment. I have been cracking up reading all your comments. Its nice to know Im not the only wild woman out there..lol. Yeah but just for wondering minds...it was my B-I-L! Yup! So F-em probably wouldnt have been too appropriate...But I sure as hell was thinking it:) I told my hubby that nothing better be said when I\'m present....cause I will hurt some feelings:) I\'m a nice person till you cross the line...and boy has he crossed it:) LOL Men are DUMB:) Being a mother period is priceless...let alone doing it all alone. All that matters is that my babies love me, my hubby loves me and I love myself. Right!
Oh how I love you women ! Its nice to have people who understand.
cowgirlygirl28 - Friday, 10 July Teddy and I just got back from the Doctor\'s appointment. In a month he will be fitted with leg braces that will go from his hips to the bottom of his feet. He will have to wear them 24/7 unless he is bathing. He will have to wear these for many years. The severity of this disability is still not known, it is a wait and see. He will be seeing a pediatric neurologist in the next few weeks at the Children\'s Hospital at UNC here in NC. I am at a loss for words right now. We have a big list of Do\'s and Dont\'s. I have to carry him a certain way, basically like a newborn. He most like won\'t crawl for over a year and wont be able to walk on his own until he is 2 or 3 years old. Sitting up on his own may not happen until he is a year or a bit older. It is a wait and see right now. We will be doing lots of therapy at home and lots with the physical therapist at home. Know one thing though, we will get through this though....some how, some way

aloha.ma - Thursday, 9 July Just a quick question for all the mommies that stay home or planning to stay home with their babies.
How would you respond if someone told your husband/boyfriend/etc. that \"your wife needs to get a f***ing job!\" ?
Someone said that to my husband about myself. Keep in mind my hubby is overseas and we have 2 babies.
Just curious. I\'m over it but wondered if others would respond the same way I did.
~amy~ - Thursday, 9 July Hey ladies! I want to put pictures on my page.. what websites do you use to edit the pics? Thanks!
cowgirlygirl28 - Thursday, 9 July Teddy needs your prayers right now. Monday we went to see a Developmental Specialist for what we thought was a standard appointment. It turned out to be something more. He was diagnosed with \"spastic diplegia.\" It means he has very rigid muscles in his legs, hips and back and his body creates excess muscles. This is caused by a birth injury or injury after birth caused by lack of oxygen. He was a preemie and had apnea spells for nearly a month after birth. We go back to see several Doctors on Friday to have his feet looked at as it is causing his feet to turn severely inwards. We are not allowed to let Teddy put any weight on his feet. This disorder is preventing him from rolling over and sitting up unsupported. Also, this disorder usually leads to Cerebral Palsy. However, the severity is not known until a year or two as the ability to walk or sit up on their own is not fully known until then. Right now the feet is the major concern. They are talking about surgery to loosen and separate the muscle as the constant rigidity is putting to much strain on the joints and can cause more damage and early arthritis and more damage to the limbs. He is able to roll over from his tummy to back but they said he is using the weight of his head to do it. He sits up supported but when he tries to sit up on his own he flops right over. So please pray for us. I am so worried right now. My DH is in Afghanistan and will be deployed until May of 2010. I don\'t know what to do. Teddy is not liking the therapy and exercises we are having to do at home as it hurts him. Friday the military Hospital is referring us to the Children\'s Hospital which is a good thing.
