Hiya.. I havent yet looked into my own rice cereal - I was just going to buy a packet of the dried stuff that's already available in the shops and then add my own purées to it for flavour...

I think veggy-wise they can have allsorts - abergine, courgette, peas, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower - as long as it is all cooked thorughly and blended down suffciently.. I think (apart from carrots) you are supposed to wait a while before you give them root vegetables such as turnip and swede etc..

I really need to do a little more research myself as well as collating new recipes..

So far, as I say, I've down apple purée, apply & sultana & oats purée and banana & sultana & oats.. The last two I'll be adding to baby rice so it's initially not so strong.. I havent added any sugars to them, but they are *extremely* sweet just due to the raw ingredients that I used..

I can't wait to start making and discovering new recipes though and experimenting with different tastes :D

They told me I wasn\'t preggo and I had surgery...I went back 3 days after the surgery and told them I was....they still said the pee stick said no...I said draw some blood...sure enoughI received a very big apology the next day. The digital EPT is better than what the dr uses....ask to have a blood test. PS I was only 3 wks and 3 days....

Thank you for your comment...I stress about this on a daily basis but I really do try to just enjoy my son and not worry about his stupid ass b/c he surely isnt worried about us. My problem is that while I do agree wtih you saying that its no help to have a father who will only dissapoint, he WANTS to be in the babys life...and I dont want to have to say one day to my son that I kept his father away, and also I really legally cant if he takes action to get visitation. So right now I just leave the door open for him to come if he wants but its not very often which is better for my sanity. Also that helps what you said about the W2....do you have experience with that? He HAS to be getting paid checks in order for me to have any rights to that money , am I correct on that? If he gets deployed again though he makes just as good of money doing that as he does his regular job, and that money my son would have rights to get for support....I guess im just better off right now, even if hes not giving me money at least I am able to keep my son with me at all times and I am documenting all of his half assed attempts at coming around and every time he does I mark how long and any communication we have between visits. I guess its all i can do at this point if i don\'t know the future. A guy says one thing and then 2 months later its a totally different story.

my boy was 5lbs 45cm dont know \" he was 2 weeks early well 1 and a bit. my 1st was 7lbs 56cm and my 2nd was 7lbs 5cm 2nd one was 14days over so she would have been little is guess but hubby isnt big and im not really big am now but not normaly. you baby is ove ave size. my boy is now 12lbs 60something in length. i wouldnt worry to much about weight till they start walking anyhow thats when they start to burn it off. my girl although was born smallish isnt small no more she is bigger than my 1st and they are 2 years apart. but she not fat either she is in the 50% my 1st is in the 3% and my lo now is 20% each baby is different

Hi 1stime - My daughter was 9lbs 2 oz and 21.5 inches long. Everyone that saw her including the surgeon (emergency c-section - i was 5 days over due) said she looked 3 mths old when she was born. She\'s a big girl but not fat. Don\'t worry what everyone says!

JamieH - Monday, 22 June
My son was 8lb 7oz at birth 22 in long. He was born 3-3-09 everyone tells me he looks six months also. He weighs 14lbs 11ozs today and I dont know how long. He still fits in some 0-3mon clothes but is a bit to long for the sleepers. He is not fat just really long and skinny. Don\'t listen to what other people say. Your baby is just the right size for himself.

Hi folks I put up some 5 month pics of Cristiano if anyone is interested. Hope you all are doing well. Cristiano has been doing well with solids and he\'s squealing when laughs from time to time. It\'s so much fun watching him grow. He\'s getting ever his cold but the cough is still persisting. I\'m just relieved that he doesn\'t have a fever.
