35Npregnant - Monday, 2 February Please read the following my little girl does comfort feeding somedays so i give her breast often to help her sleep before placing her in bassinett. Don't let your baby cry it has very very bad for development...

courtenay - Friday, 30 January lol ya i know what you mean, i have a hard time drinking all the water too.
jaydsmom - Friday, 30 January Thanks for understanding where I was coming from. I put my son on his belly for tummy time too. They need that. I read the story on here by peytonsmom and how she put her daughter on her belly in her crib while her and her hubby got ready to go out somewhere. 20 min later they went to get her and she had choked to death on her own puke (her face was in it). She was 2.5 months old. That story just haunts me after I read how quick it can happen. When my mom tells me that I slept on my tummy I just say to her "well you didn't use a car seat with me either and I'm still here, but does that mean I shouldn't use one"? That usually makes her quiet. lol.
courtenay - Friday, 30 January lol ya the water is the most important my doctor said to drink atleast 1 big glass for every feed.
krhayes - Friday, 30 January hey- just wanted to check on you. are things any better? are you puttng baby to sleep on stomach or back? I've had some luck with side. is your baby boy ever having gas pains? help!
courtenay - Friday, 30 January sounds interesting, flax is really high in fiber too i think, doesnt sound like anything in it would be bad. i was always told that the only way to increase supply is to drink LOTS of water and just let the baby nurse more. can you let me know how the cookies turn out and if you actually notice an increase in supply? im not really worried but i do nurse a LOT so it would be nice to try and get more into her at one sitting lol.
emmaflower987 - Thursday, 29 January your welcome! Im a young, nervous, first time mom lol so i completely understand!!! When my mama first suggested to me to lay Karson on his stomach i was like "OMG!! NO that causes SIDS", then she told me that me and my sister both sleap on our stomachs and back then they said that babies who DO sleep on their backs could die of SIDS lol... anyways, im glad i took her advice and started him sleeping on his tummy cause he sleeps SOOSO good that way!
emmaflower987 - Thursday, 29 January Hey! I saw your post asking if anyone's babies sleep on their stomach.... My baby boy Karson always sleeps on his stomach.. when we first came home from the hospital i had him sleeping on his back but the longest he would ever sleep was like 30 mins... well my mama suggested that i start laying him on his stomach and i was really concerned about this because of all the SIDS talk BUT i eventually tried it and he LOVED it! Karson is now 8 weeks old but has been sleeping on his stomach since he was about 2 weeks old. He was able to life his head since day one... anyways, to make you feel a little better about the whole SIDS thing... just think about all the things that they say cause SIDS now... they are things that people have been doing for years.... anyways, i hope this was helpful
