aprilraine: being a new mommy and having a two week old, i get the same way as you: God, the anxiety! The way people hold her, or how my mother-in-law changes her diapers, the anxiety drives me nuts! I feel that if it's not done my way, it's not done right! That may sound selfish, but I can't help it! When I return back to work in November, my mother-in-law is going to babysit my child as she is retiored and i cant help but to worry about missing my child's first milestones, like her first words and all of that stuff. I'm mostly afraid that she'll want to be with grandma all of the time and not me, that is when I return back to work! I hate those feelings!

Most doctors will tell you to wait 6 weeks before having sex after giving birth. You can do it!!! But keep in mind that you are extremly fertile after giving birth so be careful.

AHH!! You will love this: I get a call at 9pm last night from Brandon's dad, informing us that he will be in town and wants to stop by. At first I was just a little irate because I can't stand when people stop by last minute with having a newborn baby. Then to find out that he will be by around midnight!! I said he is more than welcome to stop by, but Anna and I will be in bed with the bedroom door locked shut. Who does that!? Who stops by your house unannounced at MIDNIGHT to see your newborn baby?! AHHHH!!!!

I went from 130, to 171, and now I'm 150. Unfortunately, due to my broken tail bone, I still can't exercise. But my next appointment is on the 15th so hopefully then I will get the OK from my doctor to go back to normal activity!! But, again, she is worth every pound I gained. Gidjet is so adorable... I still can't believe our babies are here.

AH!! How in the world can you get your jeans done up at just 3 weeks!? And what am I doing wrong? lol I think I am forever going to be a size 12 after having this baby. *sigh* Oh well. Congrats on losing the baby weight!!

Its a spray for anything that burns really lol. It takes the burn out. You can use it on Sunburns, insect bites, minor cuts, scrapes, minor burns, minor skin irritations. (All this coming right off the Can.) It relieves pain and itching, and moisturized, soothes and refreshes with aloe, lanolin and menthol. (again all that coming off the bottle.) I personally think its good stuff. It helps me. And this is what the hospital sent me home with so, I trust them. Its called Hospital Strength Dermoplast. If you decide to try it: I hope it helps :-)

Hey i saw your comment. Try Dermoplast! I swear by the stuff. Its a spray you can spray down there and it helps w/ the burn. You can find it at the drug store!!!

she sure is cute. I love her complexion. Jayden and i are good. i weighed and measured her last weekend... she is 23 inches and 11 pounds. she was 6 lbs 15.8 oz and 17 1/2 inches when she was born.. so i have got a little chunk too. She will be 6 weeks tommorow. OH MY GOSH... yesterday was my first day back at work so i have been a little depressed not having her around me 24/7. It is weird how you can love someone so much without knowing them that long. I just cant believe how fast they grow. Is your lil girl sleeping good at night?

hey sorry I haven't been on. I've been at the hospital since he was born on 7/27/07 taken by emergency c section he has pnemonia and has been in the NICU ever since he was born. I've been staying there to breast feed him and take care of him. I haven't had internet acess. I just ran home today for the first time, but Im about to take off soon, so I gotta go. I'll come back soon I promise my whole birth story will be up and I'll give you some more details...he was 8 lbs 12 oz and 21 inches, he is reaally cute too. I'll post pics when I can. Sorry to keep you worried, hope everything is ok with you and Carl and Gidget :)

Gidjet is beautiful! And you look great for 12 days after birth. I'm not able to button my jeans either but we're almost there! I admire you for sticking to doing it naturally. I did for 10 hours and then had to have an emergency csection so it was epidural heaven for me. Congratulations on motherhood, I hope everything continues to go well with your new little family!

I just read about your boyfriends family coming to visit... I am SO SORRY about what they are putting you through! My in-laws are coming the last week of August and I have the feeling that they are going to act in a very similar way... and I, too, will end up pulling my hair out! Your little girl is BEAUTIFUL!!
