kt08dec88 - Saturday, 18 October Quick question... Im in 34 weeks.and was wondering.... When did you/ are you, packing your hospital bag... I keep tellin myself i gotta do it soon, but just dont get around to it...Just curious as what you did?
vipbaby68123 - Saturday, 18 October ive not had that situation, sorry. if you choose to try vaginally, please dont try to be a hero. epidurals are wonderful to the laboring mother!
kt08dec88 - Saturday, 18 October I added more pics to my nursery room under construction blog!... Im almost done...just a few more touches... Take a look if you would like and tell me what you think!
my3rdbaby - Saturday, 18 October Hi Amy, I'll be thinking of you on the 29th, that's my c-section date too. I'm scheduled for 8am too! This will be my third section. Little boy on the way. Congrats on the girl, they are SO SO much fun - I've got two and they are adorable (and will make you spend money like no tomorrow)! I think you made the right decision about the section. Best of luck to you, enjoy your last week and a half preggers. I'm trying to as this will most certainly be my last baby. Valerie
asutori - Friday, 17 October I'm definitely getting antsy!! I can't believe how far we've come and it's only the beginning! :) The pressure is getting pretty heavy in my hips and my doctor can no longer really feel his head anymore at the exams... so he has dropped quite a bit. And everyday I'm just looking to see if I've lost my plug... I've never wanted something so icky to come so badly in my life, lol. Thankfully, I've still been able to sleep well (knock on wood); that is when I actually do get to bed (lately, I've not been able to get to bed until 2 am-ish), but I do take naps when possible. October 29th is one day before my birthday! So exciting!
Kitty210704 - Friday, 17 October I finally got a newer pic up. Its my 31 wk pic. Im still not too big I dont think. Let me know what you think.
christy33 - Friday, 17 October Gosh, I miss the excitement of the countdown! There is nothing like it in the whole world, waiting to meet the little stranger you've been working so hard for!! I can't wait to see pics of your bundle of joy!! Take care!
vipbaby68123 - Friday, 17 October I am writing (hopefully) tomorrow to see what you find out!
CarsonPhoenix - Thursday, 16 October That is so exciting!!! You could have your little girl before you know it!!! My gosh it is so weird knowing the exact date you will have your baby. Two weeks! Congratulations
joje - Thursday, 16 October I am getting a bit nerevous now. I am looking forward to it though. I just can't believe that tomorrow I am not going to be pregnant anymore. And that I turn into a mom. wow. Will post pics as soon as I can.
Take care. Still sending good 'flipping' thought & vibes your way!
christy33 - Thursday, 16 October Oh, my son was born on Oct. 29th! Talk about a sweet child! As for being breech, try lying on an incline, head down and legs elevated! Hopefully she will flip for you! Good luck!
stacy5175 - Thursday, 16 October good idea...!!! just relax and enjoy these final 2 weeks! the inversion sounds horrible!
Kitty210704 - Thursday, 16 October Good luck hun, hopefull that baby will turn even if its last minute! :)
ulala86 - Thursday, 16 October No...they are inducing me at 39 weeks due to my high BP. Ohh I cant wait any longer! I wish these weeks went by faster!
EricandCalebsMommy - Thursday, 16 October It sounds like you're feeling pretty good about your decision ~ that's great! It's probably a little easier knowing for sure that she's still breech than wondering where she is. They wouldn't check me by ultrasound today ~ I have to wait until 37 weeks (next week), but the OB/GYN said that by the feel of him/her, s/he has gone back to vertex, and the OB/GYN found our little bean's heartbeat far below my belly button ~ but who knows? Only God knows what will be! I'm so glad you were able to come to a decision! Now the countdown is really on, huh?
joje - Thursday, 16 October Yes- do try to enjoy the last 2 weeks of just being a couple. I think you are doing the right thing, especially since you are still trying to get her to turn on your own. I say- they are breech for a reason. I know you do not want the section (nor do I) but what choice do you have if she won't turn? Anyway, I wish you the best & don't give up hope, she may surprise you and do a flip. (I sure hope so!) Keep me posted on your progress. 2 more days for me!!
ttyl- Joje
ulala86 - Thursday, 16 October why dont they do ur c-section now instead of waiting 2 more weeks? u mite go into labor urself and with her being breech - that isnt good to start a c-section while in labor. atleast thats what my docter told me.. i cant wait for our lil bundle of joys! :)
asutori - Thursday, 16 October It seems that most of my friends and people I know on this blog are getting induced or having c-sections! It's crazy! But I am sure everything will all go well for everyone :)
I wish you all the best in getting that baby flipped... hopefully she will be a good girl :)
CarsonPhoenix - Wednesday, 15 October That sounds like a perfect plan!! Good luck and I will look for updates when you get back!
clairelouise - Wednesday, 15 October Well good luck with it, its true it can distress baby and also you, all the hard work and effort to get baby into right position and you end up with a c-section anyway, I had an awful 43hr labour with my daughter and now see a counseller because of what happened, Sometimes i have thought maybe i should just go for a section and not have any labour pains and all the other crap i went through,
clairelouise - Wednesday, 15 October At the moment im in the same situation as you, My baby was always curled up hed down until i got to 33 weeks and she decided to turn and stay there, id had probs walking because of the pressure her arms and hands where putting on my ribs and woundered why i suddenly felt nothing, I went for my antinatal appointment at 33 weeks and she was pushing her head right out, and it was deffinatly at the top, I was told to wait untill next appointment which was only 1 week away so when i went last week they said she was deff in the same position and seemed to be feet first. Which didnt surprise me as i can always feel like someone dancing on my bladder, Ive been booked in for a sweep anyway at 38 weeks to try and start natural labour, (read my page for all details of why etc..) and now ive been told if she doesnt turn at 36weeks ill be sent for a scan to check for sure her position, They said depending on how breech and engaged ill be offered a turn before a scheduled c-section, Im ok about this as ive experienced a natural birth which almost ended in section and was almost having one this time anyway, Ive spoken to my midwife my counseller and family about it and have finally accepted that if it has to happen then ill do whats best for my Baby,
Though ive had alot of people now telling me how painfull a turn is, (manually turning baby with their hands) That it could bring on labour and alot of the time the baby moves back round afterwards anyway,!! And this morning a friend said her daughter was breecha nd had a section the doctors said its too risky doing a turn as babies can become distressed and some have died,!!! I was like OMG im stuck now as i really want her to turn and if she doesnt im going to be petrified she will become distressed inside,
Whens your next appointment? will you let me know how you get on and what they say about breech babies, xxxxxxx Hope it works out well,
tinak23 - Wednesday, 15 October whatever is safer for you and your baby thats what the decision should be . atleast you bringing your baby into the world better safe than sorry
CarsonPhoenix - Wednesday, 15 October Goodness this is a very hard descision. If there were to schedule you a C-Section, when would it be?
camrynsmommy - Wednesday, 15 October i would try to turn her! my friend had a breech baby and they were able to turn her very easily, and she had a successful vaginal delivery! hope you're feeling good these last few weeks.
madiraevin - Tuesday, 14 October i'm not going thru the same thing, nor did i with mine....but my sister in law is experiencing the same thing....she has decided to just do the c-section....safer all around and less pain!!!
