has anyone started baby on cereal yet? and if so, how much and when? do n e of you have advice on how to get baby to sleep longer intervals without waking hungry? madisyn wakes up still at least once, if not twice, to eat at night. she's 11 weeks this thursday. is it coming? am i just impatient?

Thanks for sharing your opinion about the kalani crib... after searching for months for the best crib for us...this is the one we are sticking to. If you go to the babys rus website...the kalani crib has the highest rankings of all but one crib...and the other crib only come in brown and i want white...I already knew about the screwholes...which we will wax and paint over...and the unfinished part i dont know about because everyone i have heard from has said that the color is magnificent... so idk... But thank you for informing me...if i didnt know anything about it, and just picked it on the looks, you would have definatly helped me...thanks.. :) katie

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. My grandmother isn't ill and I am so grateful for it, but I realize that no matter what circumstances you're going through, being pregnant just gets all those worries out! We just have to remember to be thankful for what we have now and enjoy it while we can (even though some days it's really hard to do). If you can, just take it easy because this is such a special moment in our lives. I know I'm still getting over the guilt, but it is going away slowly. I know my new job as mommy will be more intense than any other job I will ever have, so screw it! lol. I really wish you and your grandma the best and take care of yourself mama! :)

I have had a pregnancy mask the whole time. Have you had problems with it yourself? If so, what did you do to make it less visiable?

Im tan so its a light spot. I am currently trying Skin ID , the stuff you see on TV. Its not really helping its giving me acne in places i never had it like my neck?! I've tried proactive. Im tempted to get it again. Whats your opinion?

When does the kicking start to really hurt? They are so nice and gentle right now at 26 wks.. everyone says to me wait... just wait until the baby is caught under your ribs. Is it closer to the end?

I had minor sciatica as well but it has gone away thankfully!! Just some round ligament pains still though, however, the support band really helps on the bad days. I am actually still off work from my short term disability and am in the process of just getting into mat leave earlier. There are only 2 months left and there is no point in me trying to push myself any longer. My anxiety would just flare up worse again and then I just put myself in a worse position to have post-partum depression (according to the doctor). So with that said, I'm just enjoying the quiet time I have left since after he's here, I'll be back to being a little busy bee again :) I hope your pain subsides though, I totally know how you feel. And I've lately been in the habit where I can't even get to bed until 2 am and I also have to eat, lol.

I'm doing good! I actually found out recently that I'm anemic from the pregnancy, so I now have to take iron supplements, but that is an easy issue to deal with. It would also explain why I've been extra tired lately... but my husband keeps having to remind me "It's ok to take naps... you're pregnant for goodness sake!!". You look so adorable in your pic; you are totally all belly! How have you been feeling? Are you getting extra excited? I know I am :)

WOW! Madisyn's going to be 10 weeks old this thursday.....and she SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT last night!!!!! It was so great! I put her to bed at about 1030 and she didn't wake up at all until 630 this morning!!!

SORRY IF THIS IS TMI, BUT IT WILL EXPLAIN MY DR APPT YESTERDAY! Ok, so I gave birth on a thursday, and the tuesday after, I went to the dr because I was running a fever and I had some weird stuff "hanging out" of my privates.... it turned out to be membranes left after birth. The nurses were instructed to double check me before I went home, but no one did. SO....my dr gently removed it and gave me antibiotics to prevent infection. WELL, the bleeding I was having was STILL from that. There was a "yarn string" sized amount still there... Again, we removed it, and now I'm fine. Also, I started Seasonique birth control at my 6 week check up and that's another reason for the bleeding.
