It is where they test for down syndrome, chromosome and birth defects etc...They do bloodwork and an ultrasound to measure the baby's neck at 12 weeks and then another bloodtest at 16 weeks and then you get your results. They gave me 6 options for the test. 2 invasive and 4 noninvasive. She said this is the most popular/ safe choice so we chose it.

it's like a heavy period with clots and all...
baby Madisyn is great. GROWING LIKE A WEED!!! she's 9 lbs and 2 oz already.... she was only 6lbs 1.1oz when she was born!!! she's starting to sleep 5-6 hour stretches at night...so that's good!

No bed rest, thank goodness!!!! I have been saving my time at work like crazy to pay for as much as my 12 weeks off as I can. They just said I have to slow down a bit and take these pills when the contractions get bad. It makes me really wonder how I'm going to know when the real ones start. We have talked a couple names - Lily Ann, Allison Rae, and Hailey Rae are our top picks. I pretty much know it will be Lily Ann, but I have to keep my options open. We're almost there!!!!

I have been having a lot of Braxton Hick's contractions too, in fact have been in twice to be put on monitors. So far, nothing seems to be causing any preterm labor, thank goodness. Yesterday, they were 3-4 minutes apart, so I had to be put on the monitors and have some tests run. No baby expected for the next couple weeks, at least. My doctor contributes it to something called "chronic irritable uterus." Hopefully that means she might push to be out a little earlier than due date but not too early. I love your names BTW, simple and elegant. Hope all is wel. You look great.

Looks like about 13 weeks or so by looking at your pictures.... is that about right?
I'm looking forward to looking pregnant & not just chubby!
I actually cried today because nothing fits right and no one can tell that I'm pregnant yet..... these pregnancy hormones are something else!

It's wierd...I actully had a dream last night about the name Molly and then I saw your page today. I really like it. Katie might be in labor too...Debbie just said they are every 4 minutes. Good Luck to your sister!
