I had my little girl on Saturday. They induced labor on Friday but I wasn't dialating at all and ended up having a c-section. She was born beautiful and healthy. I posted a few pixs. I will post more when I have more time :)

hi. sorry havent been on in soo long. life sure is different --as i type w/ one finger & a baby in lap..lol. surgery was wayyyy worse in my mind. i went in fri @ 500 & was released monday. i actually wasnt able to sit up for the 1st 24 hrs. my hubby got crash course in changing diapers since i couldnt sit up :) as far as the spinal - that scared the crap outta me too but once again wasnt as bad as i thought would be. to be totally honest w/ you, the catheter was what i hated most & once the spinal kicked in - i no longer felt the catheter. i was talking to dr & anesthesia people during whole process. another fear i had was that everyone under the sun was going to hold my baby b4 i got to & that wasnt the case.til they got me all 'closed up' so to speak, they were warming her & doing the required things w/ her. they brought her to me asap & i was able to feed her. recovery is still a bit difficult even now..10 days later but it is nowhere as bad as i thought it would be. i wish you the best & again apologize that it took me so long to get back to you. all i can say--is enjoy the last 2 days of sleep, ever... lol

Your Welcome! I LOVE the piggy bank, I might get one too =) Pottery Barn i my favorite! The surgery will be fine! I'm so jealous, I wish I was having mine in a few days! I am sore down there too. Alot of pressure if I stand for long periods of time. How is Eric doing? Excited or nervous? What time is your surgery?
