Hey Angela :-) .. Thanks and Congrats on your pregnancy too!! I read your whole page and I was sorry to hear about your grandmother. I was really close to my grandmother and she was never hypocritical to me, which I was thankful for. There are alot of the older generation that don't believe in children outside of a marriage or living with someone without being married, blah blah blah. Maybe back then it wasn't acceptable, but that was a different time and alot has changed since then. I've raised 2 of mine on my own and it's hard as hell but it's possible. I'd much rather raise them on my own than to have the dad around and me be miserable for the rest of my life. Men can put you in a mental rut that's hard to get out of. I was in an abusive relationship and he had me believing that if I left him that he'd find me and kill me. For years, I was scared to death to leave him but I didn't want to be with him either. So finally, years later, I decided that the worst thing that could happen would be that he find me and kill me like he said he would, and even then, he'd be the one burning in hell, not me. So I took my chances and called his bluff. He played the psycho game with me for about 6 months but I wasn't giving in. He finally got tired of fighting a losing battle and decided to play nice. I've had him by the nuts ever since! He realized that I can play uglier than he ever THOUGHT about playing because I don't pop off at the mouth and try to scare people like he does,.... I play for keeps. With your baby's dad,.. you and your kids deserve so much more. And as soon as you get out from under that cloud he's put you under, you'll realize that and you'll look back and giggle at the time that you even gave him the time of day. I've been there. Shit, let him go back to that other woman. Let him be a weight on her shoulders, not yours. Let her pay his bills and feed his dumb ass. There's someone out there that's looking for someone like you to take care of and love. Don't make yourself unavailable by messing with that other jackass. I did that for way too long. I finally found the man of my dreams and am in the nursing program at a local college. That's something my ex would never let me go for. He wouldn't let me out of the house hardly. It was a sad life. And the funny thing is is that now I am completely happy and satisfied and my ex has YET to find someone to stay with him. Hmmmmm, go figure.. lol. Well, guess I better get busy with the laundry. I like Zamiah....I'm a little partial to Zaina...pronounced Dana with a Z lol. And one thing you may want to realize is when you're prego a lot of times you cant stand your man. me and my hubby were married when I was prego with my daughter and I could stand the way he ate or slept at night I did like the way he breathed or the fact he kept drink his coffee out of my favorite cup. I didnt think we were going to make it because his very being just pissed me off. I dont know your situation but some of this could be hormonal.
