Thanks! I am sooo excited! I hope everything goes well.. I am kinda nervous about being induced. But I want him outta there, especially b/c of the gestational diabetes!!

My hubby doesn't really think I'll go early. I keep telling him that I can feel changes happening... strange, isn't it? I'm like you, a lot of uncomfortable cramps and aches - especially when I stand up - it feels like a big cramp down there. When I'm sitting, a lot of hardening of the belly - but I don't know if it's just her pushing out or if it's BH. What do you think? Sometimes it feels like she's knocking on my pelvis...like 'hello out there! is this the way out of here?' LOL
Dr appointment tomorrow - but they don't check for dialation until 40 weeks, so I won't know anything. Still losing more of my plug.
I know people say, oh you'll know when you're having contractions....and I'm sure when they are painful we will know, but what about before that? I feel stupid not knowing what I'm supposed to be looking out for..??
Certainly had the nesting bug yesterday! Got the house cleaned from morning until night! Now my back hurts....
I'm going to miss having her inside....

Hey lady! How are you feeling?? Any predictions? Think you're going to go early or late? I keep thinking I'm going to go early...but I'm sure it's just wishful thinking. Doc doesn't check anything until 40 weeks, so no telling if I'm even dialated. I am getting cramps and some tightening - especially everytime I get up from sitting....hmmmm

So what's up? Any news? Anything happening?

I went on meternity leave and our internet at home is stuffed at the moment and that's why I'm so quiet.

I haven't gone in for the induction on 3 Oct as previously mentiond. The new plan of action is a c-sec on 11 Oct. Jayden is already weighing 8.8lbs and doc thinks a section will be the better (safer) route to follow.

Sooooo ya....That is the date now! Yipppeee

How are you guys doing? Let me know ok.

Well ladies, Mya is here... she is beautiful, 6 pounds 7 ounces 18 1/2 inches long...I delivered on Wed Oct 1st...just got home form the hospital so I will post more later...

Exactly! You're totally right, I've talked to a lot of women who have given birth naturally to babies over 9lbs, and everything went fine. I definitely think I can handle it, and I'm hoping my doctor will agree with me. If I go past due, then maybe she will have a legitimate reason to induce, but not before then. Besides, my appt with her is not until exactly 39 weeks, and if she were to schedule an induction, I bet it wouldn't be for at least another week after that, which will make me 40 weeks already anyways. So in my opinion she might as well just let me go into labor naturally. And I TOTALLY agree with you, I WANT to be surprised, at least with my first, when I start going into labor. Well it's nap time, I've been up early doing laundry, and now that hubby went to work, it's time for me to steal his comfy pillow! lol

I'm making cheesburger mac and stroganoff today...gonna freeze it for when baby is born...nice and easy to defrost and reheat! May go back and get some more since they were so cheap!

Hey thanks for writing, I'm totally in agreement with you. I just can't understand (aside for medical reasons) why everyone is being induced. Now, for the bad news for me...after all that questioning I did about inductions today, I went to my appt and found out that it's a possibility that my doctor might want to induce me around 39.5-40 weeks. It's because according to the ultrasound measurements (which can be & usually are, off up to a pound less than estimated) my daughter is at about 8.5 lbs. I didn't see my regular OBGYN today bc shes out of town til next Thursday, but the doc today said if it was up to her she would induce me to save me a difficult labor bc if the readings are right, my daughter could weigh around 9-9.5 lbs when I'm 40 weeks along. They say she could get stuck and I could end up needing a c-section, BUT having an induction increases my risk for needing a c-section. So it's a catch 22 I guess. I'll listen to my doctor, BUT tons of women deliver naturally 9.5lb babies all the time with no problem, and I don't see why I couldn't either. It's not like I'm really tiny, lol. I've got some hips on me so I know I can handle it. Anyways, sorry, had to vent bc I'm scared if she does decide that the best idea is to induce me. Hope you're doing well!

Good idea! Forgot about the crock pot! Couldn't wait to use it and now it's getting chillier out and I can but didn't buy anything to make in it when we went shopping! Ha! Next trip, which will be after Lucas is born! That's crazy to think about!
I hear ya, I know what the inside of every store bathroom within a 5-10 mile radius looks like! Lol! If it has a public restroom, I've used it!
Making HH (hamburger helper, that I got for $1!) lasagna with garlic bread and salad tonight. Easy, fast, but yummy (and kinda healthy, I add mushrooms and use ground turkey instead)!
Sorry you feel so bad. I have almost finished the next lesson, will need to work on it tonight before Grey's comes on! 10 more pages to this one! It was a long one!

Holy crap! You have alot of diapers! I know, was thinking about the month thing when i woke up at 1am the other night on Oct 1st (We have a clock radio in the bathroom that has date on it).
Mmmm....ribs, never make them, seems too hard...once in a while we pick them up from Applebees tho.
Had appt, nothing! Scheduld next appt for next Monday, a week from this coming Monday. He is at the office closer to my house on Mondays and doesn't seem like anything will happen before then anyways, so why not. The nurse said as long as i wasn't dialted it wasn't a big deal. Although, do like the girls at that office better, so might call and change it.
Went shopping to make myself feel better. Got an Eddie Bauer diaper bag on clearance with coupon for $15.49! Used to be a purse whore, now I'll just collect diaper bags
Also BRU had Carters and Gerber buy one get on 50% off. Lucas still didn't have any plain white onesies, so bought one 5 pk of 0-3 and one 3-6, along with some of those cotton pants in different clors to match his onesies he already has. I bought a few, but they had designs on them and wanted the plain ones but couldn't find them. Now just have to return other ones...story of my life.
Well gonna hit the books since I've been slacking so much yesterday and today.

Hi, thanks for the responses to my babyshower situation. At this point, My husband and bff are salvaging the shower the best they can. My bff is going to host everything and providing the cake and my husband purchased decorations and favors yesterday, along with us providing the food. We simply have decided to do Rigatoni, salad, chips and dip, pop and a veggie tray. It will still be at my home this Sun. I want to let all of you know that my posted comments on here about the shower were not completely all about the shower; it was the fact that my dad and stepmom hurt me and besically said screw you we don't want to be apart of your life anymore go pick up the pieces from the shower we had planned for you. My husband and I have decided to not reconcile with these people and the cut them out of our lives permanently. My dad had hurt me alot over the years and I just can't subject myself to his dysfunction anymore. I will enjoy my new baby and my own family( hubby and kids) as I have always done as I have said before my husband and I don't really have family from either side; we have both come from pretty bad backgrounds. Anyway, I am super excited about my new baby boy making his arrival very soon; I am 33 weeks today and he could be born as early as 3 1/2 weeks from today if I deliver him at the same time as I did my firstborn Zach and my daughter Alexandra was a 37 1/2 weeker, so maybe at the most I have 4 1/2 weeks left? I'll just have to wait and see I guess. I have definately been having alot of pressure and increased braxton hicks, also my midwife thinks I will deliver early too???? Thank you all for your support and friendship on here and baby dust to you all.
