aanaka - Tuesday, 16 September I was just wondering what you were doing to work from home? I would really like to work from home but seems everything is a scam.
jutterback - Monday, 15 September I know, im sick of the house smelling like a farm! And you just cant trust a guy to do it every day!
mrskcich - Monday, 15 September I forgot to ask you...when they did the strep B test did they have to put that damn clamp in you or just a quick swab? Did she check to see if you had dilated any?
mrskcich - Monday, 15 September It is weird without having the big ol belly..but even after you have the baby your belly is still there...not quite as big or hard but you still look relativley pregnant. Sad but true. And after you lose all the weight you still won't be able to fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes...you could be lighter than you were before but your hops will have spread and you won't fit into them...so don't be discouraged.
As for the c-section, I'm not scared about it at all. I'm not one that's afraid of surgery or anything. When I had my tubal reversal, I had a 5 inch incision and it really wasn't that bad. I mean, it was sore afterwards and hard to move around but it couldn't have been that bad because two days later my husband and I went to see Carrot Top (he is so damn funny). I just brought a little pillow to hold my stomach in when I would laugh. Anyways, I'm assuming the c-section will be damn near the same thing. Why wouldn't it be, ya know?
I'm hoping and assuming we will schedule the section come Wednesday when I go in.
ashleyt - Monday, 15 September Thanks so much for the advice!!
jblueyes17 - Monday, 15 September It was intersting, check out my story on the week 35 page. Did not get any school work done cuz out errands got interrupted on Saturday and I had to finish yesterday. However, we do have a pck n play now, all assembled and ready for Lucas! We have our monitor, and it's also all set up, and we got me a diaper bag! They were out of my infant seat so we had to order it from the store in New York. Hopefully it will arrive by the end of the week or mid next week at the latest. We had to use our COnvertable carseat over the weekend just in case we were bringing Lucas home early (refer to story), so we have that installed just in case we need it. I did exchanges and made a few more purchases and have a little left to do next weekend after Todd gets paid again and then we should be ready! Just need to get the soothing center and we are good for a while! We do need to put stroller together too, may do that tonight after dinner. Funny, I didn't really think i was swollen til O wore one pair of shoes to work (for walking) and brought another pair to wear with my outfit (more work appropriate) and went to put them on and right shoe does not fit! Lol! Guess I'm wearing the gym shoes today! Sounds like maybe you had a contraction, however mine are more of a dull achy pain, like period cramps. They start at the top of the belly or at bottom and then kinda carry over into the groin and lower back. Hope you feel better...sinus infections suck! Used to get them all the time before I was diagnosed with my allergies. So glad I haven't gotten one yet being off my meds! Knock on wood! Good luck! I go on Thusday when they will also schedule an u/s. The doc said his head looked a little large for 35 weeks (when he saw me on Saturday), so we'll see what they decide on the whole induction situation. Lucas was still floating tho, he hasn't engaged yet.
mrskcich - Monday, 15 September Oh believe me, you will be surpised at how much you will have to lose once "it" all comes out. With my first I gained 60 lbs. He was 9.9 so I figured I would have lost at least 20 lbs or so when I left the hospital....uh, no! I lost a total of 13 lbs!!!!!! I was shocked. You would think all that other stuff accounts for more than that but it really doesn't.
I go to the dr Wednesday and will see how big the tub-a-lard is at 36 weeks. Kind of scared to find out even though I know she won't be delivered vaginally. So glad I have an understanding dr that will allow me to have a voluntary c-section even though we both know that my body would allow for me to deliver such a big baby.
I've been feeling good the past few days. Suprisingly!!! Not too much pressure or sciatic nerve pain. My back has been pretty sore and I've given up on all plans of sleep until the baby is born...other than that though, I'm good.
I cleaned the house WELL Friday and Saturday (I'm part time now until I go on full maternity leave which is suppose to next week but I may go a bit further depending on what the doc says Weds).
mrskcich - Sunday, 14 September Thank you but I certainly don't feel cute! I still don't feel as big as the pics portray me. I've gained 28 lbs and I know the kids a giant so that just means I have less to lose.
How are you feeling?
ourfirstone - Sunday, 14 September Hey lady!!! Checking on you and Logan. How are you feeling? Doing well here. Some back pain, no sleep and peeing constantly, but other than that great! LOL Can you believe we've only got around 4 weeks left??? Yikes!
jblueyes17 - Saturday, 13 September That's funny about the bassinet. I got a few emails about that also, do they not realize that all pregnant women hear about that kind of stuff anyways? Nice if them to let us know, but duh! Ha! Sorry to hear you feel so bad. Sounds like you could be getting ready to go! I also have been going number 2 like crazy! It's weird! I had some cramps and contractions yesterday too (always have BH), but I'm still here!
We are venturing out in this lovely weather (pouring rain all night and some sprinkles so far today) to buybuy Baby today to at least get the infant seat, maybe the pack n play or monitor and then next week will go get the others. Think I have to borrow my dads truck for the soothing center, I don't think the box will fit in either of our cars. Funny how I'm so excited about an infant seat! Ha! I can't wait to see the changing table! I'm going to def take some pix today of the room...it's finally 98% done!
Also going to work on my lessons and get one or two done so I can send in the next quizzes so they send me the next set of lessons and I don't have to wait another week!
Have a great weekend if Idon't talk to again and get some rest! That's an order!
jaydasmama - Saturday, 13 September then I should definately still have hope!! Thank you so much!!
jblueyes17 - Friday, 12 September How are ya? Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope you're just busy working and you and Logan are ok.
michellekoutso - Thursday, 11 September yes.. that's exactly how i feel... like i want a redo and im going to have to jazz up the story when people ask me.. ughh i guess i better just get over it. the ring is cute = ) thanks for your help
