that is kinda shocking that he got more gifts than diapers. just for the fact that it's easier to bring diapers than to go search out a gift. especially for guys.. hmmm maybe the wives did the shopping for them? have a good one

Not sure. I would like to move closer to my sister and my parents, but houses are def more affordable where we are now. If we could sell our house tomorrow we would buy a house a few blocks from here on the next subdivision. The mortgage would prob be the same, maybe a little more and it would be twice the house or more! But we can't put the house up now, we've put too much into it and would end up losing money I think. Plus, I don't want to move anytime near when the baby comes.
I am thinking our next house will be our "in between" house.

LOL!!! Sad we have such excuses to indulge in things like a delicious, cold ice-cream cake.....those are the best! Did you sing to your puppy just to make it official?

Doing good on this end. I can't believe we're down to 8 weeks!!!!!!! Hubby working really hard on the basement so I can get started in the nursery....he can't get done soon enough! My brother is in town helping him with the wiring and drywall. I'm the supervisor! Although honestly, I don't like feeling helpless. It's quite a site seeing me bend over to pick something up. I have to spread my legs so the belly fits between them. Otherwise it hurts. She's crazy in there too! I wish I had a window to peek at her!

How sweet. Todd isn't much of a reader, so I just fwd him all my weekly emails. I get like 5 or 6 of them each week from different sites, so what one doesn't cover, the other will. He reads those cuz most of them are pretty short. Or, you can get some baby magazines, I subscribed to American Baby, it was only like $8 for a year or something...I read them and them put them in the bathroom so he can look thru them if he chooses.

OMG!!! I would go nuts! As it is my neighbors think I'm crazy cuz I yell out the windows all the time. Well, our neighbors to the left moved, but neighbors on both sides smoked and it would always come into our windows. I used to smoke when i drank, but when I'm not doing it it really bothers me, plus, the fact that I don't want my house smelling like that. I would NEVER smoke in my house, always went on back patio with door closed.
Anyways, sometimes they would smoke outside and sometimes they would blow it out with a window fan, which we also had to suck in cool air, so the smoke would blow right into out bedroom...I would yell out the window really loud "Stinky cigarettes! Stop smoking! Go to bed!". There were three smokers who lived to the left of us so it would even seep thru our walls (live

Poor Todd, I was like a painting natze...we would do something fun one weekend but the next weekend I would make us paint. I just wanted to get it done. Then I got pg and knew it woul dnever get done after the baby and we'd like to try and move in a year or so, so now we won't have to try and dress it up to sell it. I picked mainly all neutral colors besides the copper penny wall in the living room, but it looks awesome!
We also installed laminate wood floors downstairs, replaced all the light fixtures and the faucet in the upstairs bathroom. Next is the bathroom faucet downstairs, kitchen sink and faucet and upstairs shower. I think that's all we will do cuz anything more would be pointelss in our neighborhood I think.
Anyways...lol! Sorry to ramble on...8 weeks sounds so much better than 9, doesn't it?

No, I did the same thing. My gf's little girl sees her tho so i know she's pretty good. I'm not worried, like I said. If worse comes to worse, I'll just find another one after we leave the hospital.

Hey girl, How is everything going? How's the baby doing ? Mine is still very active and moving a lot. Sorry to read you failed the Glucose test hope all is going well a lot of times women who get GD during pregnancy it goes away after they give birth. I go in for a check up on Friday to get measured and all that good stuff. I hope you are doing good

Have you heard from your 3 hour test? I hope you passed!! I found out last night that I failed mine!! I never would have imagined that I would have gestational diabetes. But here I am. I met with the diabetes consultant today.. I feel a little better about things. Good luck to you!!

yea i thinking about taking out money from my next paycheck and not telling hubby about and go in for the 3d-4d us lol but then again i could save that money for clothes and stuff for baby gosh... wish he was here already lol
