It seems like forever ago that I was looking ahead at week 20 comments to see what people were having and thinking, "I'll never get here!" and all of a sudden...WHOOSH! Here we are! I'll bet these last weeks go fast because we'll all have so much to do! We picked up our baby furniture this week so that's one thing off of the list!

Yah I visited like 2 years ago to see my dad. It was February so it was pretty miserable weather wise. All the gloom made me depressed, I drank so much Bodingtons ever day! I gained like 10 pounds in 10 days. There were some fun times though, just super expensive since the dollar is not worth much. Yah every body tells me it's great in the summer, next time I'll make sure and visit during the warmer months. So I need to pay like 200 to register then schedule my test, I think if I do everything online I get my results back in like 3 days. The way my friend made the test sound was that all the study materials we have are completely different than what's on the actual test. I feel like I'll pass though.

So you don't have a final exam through your country for your license that you need to continually renew? How long was/is your schooling, do you have different levels of nursing like we do?

13 days to be precist. shes good. i felt the proper kick for the 1st time last nite like inside and out. this was about 10 lastnite, bby was really having a party in ther lol. i loved it,at least i know now tht chris will be able to feel him 2. wen did u feel the kick on the outside for he 1s time? xxx

45 weeks! The most you get here is somewhere around 5-6 weeks paid. Wow, big difference! You can take longer off but unpaid, depending on where you work. Yah we have a pretty challenging exam, my friend just took it yesterday and is pretty sure she failed it. So I've been studying my butt off.

Oh yah where in England do you live? I have two sisters in the Isle of Whight, Sandown I think.

Wow there is some definite history there! At least you are separated by a generation, you might not even carry the genetic propensity for it at all. I'm sure your little one is fine.

I had my little boy in daycare while I was in school, so I had lots of time to study. My school schedule was great I had a 3 day weekend every week. So now I'm preparing to take my state board exam to obtain my license. I don't know if I'm going to work yet, I can't imagine going to a job interview all big and preggo. Especially cause I want to be home with the new baby for several months so I can really establish breast feeding. With my first I just expected my milk supply to withstand the whole day away without pumping and still be ample. I ended up having o supplement with formula a lot which real bummed me out.

Anyhoo, let me know how your scan goes.

Hey thanks for commenting back about the whole AFP test. I wasn't originally worried about it until I received my results! Luckily I was scheduled for my scan the following day and everything looked fine. It's just such a scary possibility, you never know with neural tube defects they can be minor, completely debilitating or even fatal. I'm glad I didn't have to wait long to find out, So did all your results come back okay? I was your age when I had my first, and I just finished nursing school in June! Funny, lots in common. Hope all is well with you.

Yer thats what I always wanted, a little boy first but im the same i truely dont care! I just want my little angel born already and give him/her a big cuddle! Yer it could be for either but bubs daddy doesnt like it as a boys name! His tongan and wants a tongan name for his little man! His hard as im not with the dad! We still see each other and have this thing for each other but not love, we love each other for making this baby, like i wouldnt have my angel without him but yer not love love! He is pretty sexy though and i stil get the whole butterflies thing going on when i see him and then that sets the baby of and he/she starts moving around lol!

HEY SOWI ONLY WENT FOR SCAN LATE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON.WOW IT WAS AWESOME.CANT BELIEVE SHE GOT SO HUGE IN 9 WEEKS TIME.EVERYTHING IS 100 % AND SHE IS VERY HEALTHY,WEIGHING 550GRAMS AND IS 22CMS LONG.OH AND SHE WASNT SHY WHEN SHE SHOWED US SHE IS DEFENITLY A SHE.LMAO.ILL POST THE U/S PICS.TECH EVEN SHOWED US THAT HER BLADDER IS FULL,IT WAS SO AMAZING.AND MY PLACENTA MOVED OUT OF THE WAY SO I CAN GIVE NORMAL BIRTH.WHOOP WHOOP.HOW U DOING SWEETY?

Oh good, don't find out. Tell your partner he has the joy of runnig out to the room with everyone in it and can yell its a ******!!!

I tell you, you will love this scan, its so big and you can see everything, such a big difference from the 12 wk scan, huge difference. I saw its face and tiny fingers. Sunday night was like christmas eve...i just couldn't wait.
I'll put pics up soon, got a few and they are so good, still don't have internet though at home (moving) so will let you kjnow when there up hun!
