Christopher Kekoa ka 'Ahu 'ula-O-Kalani nui Mehameha Mitchell was born on Sunday November 4th at 1:27pm! He weighed 8lbs 11oz and was 20.5in long. He is my perfect little boy.

I love being a mom! My life has been changed forever. I have become a breastfeeding advocate. I love it and although I have had more support then I could ever dream of I know many women haven't. It's sad and I feel like I have a job to help others with their issues in breastfeeding. It was the hardest thing I have ever done and I know it's not easy for everyone. Anyone has questions and problems, I'll try to help!

This is Joe and I on our wedding day and our wedding party! The center lady in red was 8months pregnant with my nephew. The other two munchkins are mine three year old niece and nephew. How cute!

He is 7cm (2.8in.) long and has a heart beat of 168. And this is my three month belly!! Baby Mitchell at 11.5 weeksy shot.

Above are two of my 20week pictures. We are having a boy!! The photos are his profile and his little baby parts. Ahhh how cute! His weight is 13oz. and his heartbeat is 145bpm.

So you all asked...Here is my belly at 20weeks 2 days.

I finally took a 26week belly photo. Getting bigger!!

4D ultra sound at almost 29 weeks! I have so many pictures (60) it was so hard to choose ones to put up on the site but above is the first photo they took, before we woke him up. Next to it is a picture of him smiling after he woke up.

These two pictures are of Kekoa sucking his thump and yawning.

Hey there, I read your comment about the oatmeal to help boost supply. I tried this morning and really hope it works. I just got back to work this week and haven't pumped a whole lot until now. I'm just barely getting enough to last her thru the day. Today seems even less than yesterday so far. Only getting about 3-4 oz. total a pump. If you know of anything else that will help let me know!!

thanks

And my son was also born on Nov. 4th (2008). Too funny!

Thank you for your response! I just really hope they go down soon. I am so self-conscious about it. I thought my boobs were big before. Now I look like I am going to fall over! I just realized you are in Washington. What part? I live in Yakima. Well I hope you and your LO are doing great!

The condition my little one has is very rare. It was really hard at first, but we are learning so much about this and found a great support group. I wanted to comment on the bf page because there are reasons why a mother can not bf. I wanted to more than anything. I also want to let mothers know about this disorder because it is so rare and not too much is known about it. There is nothing more frustrating than not knowing how to take care of your baby and all the doctors keep talking in circles. Thank you for your kindness and have a wonderful holiday season.

Oh, thank you so much! My ped is very pro-breastfeeding, he encourages it so much. He did say I could supplement using expressed bm the only problem w/ that is I am pumping so much and trying to keep all expressed bm for my babysitter so that I don't have to use formula. I know formula has got a lot better over the years but I love breastfeeding and that is what i want for my daughter. She seems very satisfied when she eats and is always happy and content after every feeding, so i know she's getting enough, he's just concerned about her weight. I think she's fine and since I am around her more than he is I kind of go by "mother knows best"!

Thank you for your advice on how to get my milk up more, so just old fashioned oats will work? How many times do i need to eat them?

Message to all: This message is not intended for any one person, but a general statement to all members of the site. After hearing what you all think in regards to posting photos on the forums, we have modified the rules and ask that everyone familiarize yourself so that the site continues to remain friendly for everyone, including new members. In an effort to be respectful of all members of the site, we ask that members do not post more than ONE photo or video per person in the weekly, monthly and information forums. Your ONE picture should be small in size as well. Any large photos will be deleted. You are welcome to post as many pictures as you would like in the photo books, which were created for the purpose of sharing and viewing photos. You may also post as many blogs as you would like with photos in them. We understand that many members enjoy posting and viewing pictures on the forums, but this is not where they belong. We must keep the pictures on the boards to a minimum so that the written comments can continued to be written and read. Otherwise, the numerous amounts of large pictures squash the messages and they become missed. We ask that this modification be respected, therefore any member that continues to post numerous pictures a day will be deleted from the site. Thank you all for helping us keep the site friendly and welcoming for all members.

Bri- thanks for the advice. My mom does actually bring Anna in at lunch for a feeding. But then there is 7 hours after that until I am able to nurse her again. I just don't know why its all of a sudden, after 6 weeks that she is refusing. Today was my day off but I am worried about tommorow. I love breastfeeding, but sometimes I wish that she was 6 months so that I could introduce some cereal.

mandarae - Wednesday, 12 November
We are in the process of learning it... OK if I add you as a friend? You have alot of knowledge and I might need to tap into it in the future... We just made it a whole day today with no bottles!!! Big learning for all of three of us ahead I am sure!
